Exactly, she could have easily held it longer before sliding down to the B (?) I think the mic distance was also about volume control. And she regularly goes higher than that even if it is bordering on falsetto or not held as long, but she has spent a lot of time in her upper register before her newer, darker, moodier material- people forget.

You guys are so incredibly funny, wonderfully talented and blessed singers. As someone who not only suffers from major depressional disorder, ptsd, along with several autoimmune disorders- I, too, sing- it can be very hard and at times I feel worthless. When I watch your guys' videos, you bring the two most amazing things in the world, humor and music, together. It makes me smile and ignites a spark in my heart to try to laugh through my pain and find silver linings. Thank you for making my day brighter, thank you for sharing your raw, God given talent with us... most of all, thank you for inspiring me and, unknowingly, lighting a fire under my ass to continue working on my passion, singing and music. Maybe even one day have the courage to share it with the world. Until then, thank you for making the dreary days a bit brighter and the difficult days a bit more bearable. Seriously, thank you. Love, peace, and all the good vibes to you and yours. ❤️ SHELL

I love Billie Eilish. Her voice is unique and recognizable. For vocalists under the age of 20, very few female vocalists have unique recognizable voices. Diana Akuninova is another. Now I’m going to treat all you Billie Eilish fans around the world to a vocalist who passed away recently but in my generation ( 1960s ... I’m 74 years old) had a small but worldwide cult following and I consider her the “ Billie Eilish of the 1960s.” Her name Morgana King with a celestial heavenly ethereal voice, unique and mesmerizing. Just like Billie. When a song by her came over the radio, ( today Spotify , KZbin , etc) within the first 30 seconds ( Like Billie Eilish today) you KNEW it was Morgana King and you stopped whatever you were doing to listen. Frank Sinatra called her the best female vocalist he ever heard. If I may so bold as to suggest you listen ( when you have a few moments) to the following 3 songs that will silence your mind and open the floodgate of your heart. The first 2 were created and posted by a “ Morgana fan” with remarkable imagery which enhanced the emotional impact!! And hope you add them to your playlist so that others may enjoy. Please KZbin “ Morgana King Happy Birthday 2017” ( 4:26 in duration). The song is called “ desert hush/I am a leaf” please be sure to click the 4:26 one ( the one with a photo of her with lyrics) and NOT the 4:25 or any of the others. “ Morgana King Prelude to a kiss” ( 3:49 duration) And finally one more that is to this day her signature song about a lover that promised to return but never did. “ Morgana King sings a taste of honey” ( 5:17 duration). So pleased that the younger generation who I send these songs to are amazed and profusely thank me for turning them on to the “ Billie Eilish of the 1960s” Again, if you love Billie , please take a few moments out of your day to listen to Morgana. Her emotionally impactful voice will transport you to another world. I promise. R.I.P. Morgana King
