Nope this wasn’t about BTS. They’re in the crowd though!

Personally I think Lana del Rey should have won it because NFR had the best songwritring, I don't know why the academy chose Billie as the winner :/

Billie eilish was a good choice because the songwriting was there and she was more popular. Lana del rey is too niche and does not fit an album of year because of that.

Many don't understand that song has more social significance than you think: The song is a satire on the figure of man as the only one who can be cool to be defined as "bad guy".. as in MJ's song "Bad" with all the guys being "bad cool boys” and many others songs and music video like that .. even in movies .. an historic stereotype … but a woman if she is a “bad guy” she is a “slut” etc … so it has much more meaning than you think “the Billie Eilish phenomenon”. Hers was a social revolution, as well as a musical one. I’m 40 music teacher and what I know about Billie is: Billie Eilish was the first artist to slap the music industry and the brands that dress female artists in the last 20 years after Britney Spears like “Barbie”.. to "be more sensual and almost naked" the more naked you were the more marketing ... + sales … investing in sexualization .. the serious thing is that they also made female artists too young do it and often it didn't end well because it causes psychological trauma ... which then causes eating disorders Etc as happened to many artists in the pop world (sooo many🤦🏻♀️) ... The figure of the woman in recent years has made a regression, in the 80s/90s we had a revolution towards the future for the protection of women's rights especially freedoms to dress more sensual and be whoever they wanted .. the first sensuality on TV that was previously seen badly.. Madonna did that social revolution .. after Britney popularized… thanks to her become cultural … and since then it was always only invested in sensuality and nudity, heels, make up Etc bullshits (old stereotypes) and not in the freedom to dress HOW YOU WANTED .. it had gone from one extreme to the other so .. Billie did this she said: NO!!! and thanks to her courage to bring her style (influenced by the friends she used to hang out with (more “hip hop”)) in front of everyone that brands have started to change everything and also the music industry ..'cause of course they ONLY invest in what people like .. if people like nudity they create naked products if people like artist more covered it becomes cool to invest in that… but not all artists in history have led to social changes like this and had such a huge impact in the world of music and fashion.. She said “DRESS HOW YOU WANT IT’S NOT IMPORTANT HOW YOU DRESS BUT WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY FOR YOURSELF AND COMFORTABLE WITH YOURSELF.” She popularized this. Before Madonna, all women were more covered. With Madonna and Britney they culturalized sensuality and having the most exposed body’s freedom with your body . After all, the others had to be like this… slim and beautiful, sensual and always perfect … then Billie said: NO. YES WHO YOU WANT TO BE. You are not a product, but an artist, you choose who you want to be as an artist. If you want to be sensual use it, if you want to cover up because you're fat and you don't feel confident with your body yet, cover up like Tones and I.. if you're fat and you've finally gained confidence in your body, dress uncovered Etc .. be yourself always. As Billie said at 17 at the end of our lives we must be able to look back and be happy with the work and career we have had so it is best to ALWAYS do what we feel like doing and fight to do what we want to create and be and do. .to have no regrets… it's you that matters, not what the industry wants you to do. Thanks to this rebellious adolescent character she has been doing everything by herself since she was 15… the others work for her and it is not she who works for the record company. Unfortunately it wasn't like this for many artists and unfortunately many died because then when they control everything about you, you can no longer feel the satisfaction of being an artist, you are just a product and you develop depression + drugs = you die. Billie put an end, in theory, to those stereotopes by saying “you don't have to be thin, beautiful PERFECT .. to be a successful artist, I don't want to give anyone the right to see my body as a minor and let people sexualize my body, I have no self-esteem so I won't sell my body to the industry for marketing" and so it was.. because it's too much for a child / teenager to do that… you're not old enough to have confidence and it’s WRONG in general for everyone. Be yourself. So she deserved it … more than anyone in the last decades… she did MANY important musical and social things.

@@brentthompson1607 yes it is also for this, but not only ... obviously it’s essential to have the whole package and Billie made sales record that year .. many records .. but also because her music is more modern. Music expert said about that album “it’s a modern classic”… She has been able to bring the old music into the modern, but modernize it to the point of making it popular and mainstream … Lana unfortunately has not succeeded in 20 years. Only Billie made records in pop and alternative chart and Lana is pop artists too. Billie does everything they use a huge musical background from 20 to today of music .. they don’t have limits (musical genres limit) so she attracts more people at any age from 20 to 70 even the music critics. But we will see in the future these siblings. As artist Billie is more complete in her work. More solid maybe bc she does everything, composition, music video , scenographer of her shows, captivating performer Etc as artist is more complete even in her personality Etc everything is important.
