It was awesome. I was 56 and I couldn’t find any other friend who could spend 8 hours in line to get in close to the front so I went by myself, and suffered repeated interrogation from security why I was there by myself and why I’d go to a concert that had so many young people, like I was a potential perpetrator or something. That part wasn’t fun. That was horrible. I felt embarrassed. But I still was determined to have a great time and enjoy the concert. The standing room only crowd shoved and pushed many of us up against the steal front row fence up front and we squished and squashed. I was never so so scared in my life! It overall it was INCREDIBLE!!! Previously I had only attended concerts (Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Elton John, Cher, Heart) at huge venues with 15-20,000 people, and I was so far away it wasn’t a real great experience. At Billie Eilish, I was CLOSE, and almost got a High 5! I’m a huge fan. She’s incredible. She and Finneas are very unique. Once in a decade special.
