What I love most about this is that it's not a straight cover of MJ's Billie Jean-the violin solo is an _improvisation_ on the melody, and a truly inspired improvisation at that! Plus, the rhythm guitar accompaniment works really well with the violin solo. V&G duets can so easily mix like oil and water, but this duet is a beautiful blend. This is how it's done, folks!

I often like to do a "safety" take when I'm in a studio environment like this, cause usually there will be some element that makes one preferable over the other, but for my videos, most of the time, I treat it like a live gig. In the studio, working on a record, I'll absolutely do a solid number of takes before going back and picking what I want to use for the final product. Good question!
