Getting a signature guitar focused on beginners players for sure is the most punk thing I've ever seen.

Nice starter pack, I would've loved to have this when I was starting out. I kind of want the amp though. I love the aesthetic.
@amaurythewarrior2 жыл бұрын
Kinda feel the same. I'm 31 so I can't really complain about the stuff I had when I started in 2004, but I feel like today it's much easier to pick, find reviews hear demos, and get excited about what you're gonna get. Not to mention the amount of great learning resources.

I think you should mention this one is different from the one with the case, since it has a bolt-on neck.
@regg0092 жыл бұрын
that is a great point. I was wondering how they made the over 500 dollar one into a starter pack haha
@miseryparty37262 жыл бұрын
don't see why it was so hard to make this one a set neck model...Gibson really blows lol

Nice starter pack! I think Epiphone should have brought back the single knob tube amp with this to make it something really special.

@OfficialEpiphone Y'all need to make a Goldtop Les Paul with 2 P90's already. Enough with the humbuckers already, we get it. P90's please, thanks.

great starter pack but i would have liked to see a few more colour options and maybe a more high end feel like the inspired by gibson range or the lazzuruaz

One thing you should know about this guitar is that since it has a p90 pickup there will be a much louder hum / buzz unlike a guitar with humbucker pickups. I returned mine because the buzz is really annoying to practice with

Is this the exact same guitar as the Epiphone Billie Joe Armstrong Les Paul Junior? This kit is $400, and the guitar with hard case and no amp is $550. The two guitars look the same in pics and videos. Epiphone did something with Slash where the standalone guitar was slightly better quality than the kit version.
@budgetguitarist2 жыл бұрын
Digging into the specs for both, it looks like the nut is different - the kit version is plastic and the regular version is GraphTech. They don't get into any other specifics, but it's safe to say the guitars are not identical. I really want to play them both. P90 pickups are awesome.
@anthonysclafani39632 жыл бұрын
550 has a different neck, boxed is a bolt on
@budgetguitarist2 жыл бұрын
@@anthonysclafani3963 AH! Thank you! That makes perfect sense.

The stand alone one comes with CTS potentiometers as well. I’m sure the one in the kit doesn’t.
@scrub84232 жыл бұрын
With the kit you get different knobs, a different P90 pickup, a bolt on d shape neck instead of a 50s styled one, no signature, worse tuners, a worse nut, and worse pots. Definitely worth the extra 150 with the case imo unless you're starting out and need an amp

These are only available in the US and a few other select countries

Wish they would offer just the guitar on its own with out the amp, I know they do the signature inspired by Gibson one but I want a slimmer neck but all epiphone jrs seem to have chunky necks pleasssssssse do one of these on their own or a slimmer neck jr 👌🏻🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
