this is hardly a solo, but damn, I must say impressed with how nicely his guitar stays in tune after using that much wammy bar. And on the C chord to! That chord never sounds in tune on my strat...

@MrLinkinparkfreak Between Fender and Gibson, his first choice was Fender, I didn't say that Fender was his first guitar, and his replica "blues" are made from Fender, which are the one's he plays on stage because he doesn't use the original blue anymore. Plus he was given that guitar it wasen't his choice. And obviously now on his recent albums he has been playing gibson. Why are you involved in the conversation if you don't know what your talking about.

@keithowalshe2010 Ok a strat is a type of Fender, which was his first choice in guitar, they are both amazing guitars, but if you want to split hairs I think Billie Joe enjoys both since he plays both types of guitars weather acoustic or electric.

@CloudbreakFox I wouldn't call it improvised. He's been doing that for a while so he probably prepared it somewhere, but if you're talking just straight up ability to pull a face melting solo out of your ass, then yes. He's no Eddie Van Halen, but I love him all the same :D

@aPandorasboxofmusic You should have the nut looked at by a luthier man. Gibsons usually come with better nut setups that's why it stays in tune. Also try pencil graphite in the slots.
