We all really know that she's doing the new bond theme just bc she's popular AS FUCK, not because she deserves it. Im not denying that she has talent (not one of the best voices out there FOR SURE), actually its her brother who's much more talented for producing great sounds, her songs' beats are sick and that is the main reason of her success. Along with accepting she's a quite talented artist with a lovely voice, she's WAY too young and inexperienced for putting her name up there with artists like Paul McCartney, Tina Turner and Adele. She's at the very beginning of her artistic path, she's all about experimenting now. But i think bond theme should've been given to real experienced artists rather than a rookie teen sensation. She's made the most boring (not the worst) bond theme ever.

Being a fan, or ex-fan, of Britney, and therefore I've always heard the "she can't sing!" argument. Some people are at ease more or less, singing live, others aren't. But for me a singing voice doesn't mean you have to sing loud and yell like Adele or Lady Gaga, or Christina Aguilera. It means having a special voice, a recognisable tone and being able to keep the rythm. And with Britney, there's that. Sometimes, expressing a heavy emotion means singing with a vulnerable tone, lower volume rendering the actual strength and feeling of that emotion. For some though, it's big 4wd truck or jumping car front singing, for them loud means singing... **shrug** Billie has a nice voice it seems and I like that vulnerable tone.

And to be honest, in the last like 20 years, almost every Hans Zimmer score sound very much the same, except for a few ones that are "out of his comfort zone", like Interstellar for example.
