I loved all of these three parts!!! She's so damn lucky!!! Not everybody gets the chance to meet their idols or one of their favorite singers, especially this way, you know? She's so sweet, cute and nice. I just didn't like when she was watching him like the way she was, not when they were talking. I understand that she was star-struck though. Like her, I would've been shy. But I would've been even more shy. I'm a shy person, so. It made me so happy to see this. Billie Joe Armstrong is such a sweet, loving, friendly and nice man. He may be a badass and curse a lot, but he's a rock star and that's just who he is. I love the way he looks when he smiles and laughs. He's much older than me but he's so cute. It was so touching when he said that he's gonna remember this for the rest of his life. It's very nice to see celebrities who love and care about their fans. It was great when he gave her a guitar and signed it!! That's literally the best gift you can get from a rock star. Thank you Billie Joe for participating in this show and giving this girl the biggest thing a fan could ask for!!! You're the best for that!!! :) :D

This was one of the last shows that I remember when mtv focused on music before it turned into a dating network disaster. Plus this show didn't really go anywhere, it was very short lived.

I can't believe this was 20 years ago. I remember watching this episode back then, and then I never saw it again. Wow, 20 years gone by so fast. I was 15 and obsessed with green day and now I'm older than when Billie Joe was in this video... Oh my god. Not a fan like I used to be but this reminds me of when I thought someday I'll have a band of my own and be big on mtv and I'll be hanging out with green day or Korn. Lol... Then life happens and we're forced to grow up.

I don't get it??? Is someone really making a show that is Punk'd without the punch line, or Make a Wish without kids with cancer? It's cool and all, Green Day, yah... but is that it? I mean, why the hidden camera? Why not just tell fan girl she's going to spend the day being filmed jamming and screwing off with Green Day? It's not like she'd say, "Uh, no thanks." And secretly filming without a reason just seems a bit anti-climatic and weird. I just don't understand... am I missing a page or something?

+cliffo70 If they had told the girl she was going to be filmed she wouldn't have acted naturally, so the undercover thing is made for her to say things she wouldn't have said in front of a camera (like the thing about her brother, or Billie Joe's line about his guitar). On the contrary, she would have been too nervous to talk or she would have played a role. And it's funnier for the viewer because he knows something the fan doesn't know (that she is being filmed) so he kinda has a power the fan doesn't have (and in that way it lessens the viewer's frustration of not being part of it... I dunno)

If she was told about the whole thing being filmed a lot of her reactions would be unnatural because of the overwhelming feeling of the whole world watching you. Also making that reveal at the end was a must. You know to get the reaction and excitement and nervousness.
