as a deca-millionaire the most frustrating and sad realization i made is when i bought my first big house and lived there alone i realized i can only truly consume one room at a time and space actually became a negative aspect as walking 50 meters from the bedroom to the kitchen 10 times a day became a chore. i used to live in 1 room studio apartments in south korea during my work days and was used to having my bed next to my kitchen which was something i didnt even realize was actually a good thing (except the annoying compressor noise of the fridge) but anyway so i realized the big space doesnt make me happy especially living there alone so i rented the house to other people and currently live in a much smaller house for now

I think the problem is Elon is so wealthy he has moved through the burden of spending. When you can buy ANYTHING! It becomes exhausting having to think about tat and buying stuff! Xqc is a young millionaire where stuff still matters stuff impresses younger people he broadcasts to (in contrast to Asmongold where it doesnt!). But in this very video he complimented a house purchase by Warren Buffet because it held memories and love. I think X has answered his own question. Stuff doesnt matter. On your deathbed you will not be thinking about those expensive trainers... You will be looking into the eyes of friends and loved ones and thinking about those happy times.

its not just that, when youre that wealthy people treat you like an alie or a demon depending on who you ask, he said owning stuff is an "attack vector" which means its something that people can use to attack his character. if he cares about the enviroment then people will scrutinize what he does and owns. most of elons wealth is tied up in stocks, if he sells any it devalues his company and he loses half of the cash to taxes, a couple years ago he payed 11 billion dollars in taxes for a stock sell, the most any american has ever payed, you still see people treating him like he never pays taxes simply because they think no one can be a billionair whithout being evil.
