B-2 looks more rugged but b-21 looks smoother. They should probably make a low alt version of b-21 since you need to hug ground to avoid radar. They must be very confident in their stealth to fly them high.

Making a “low-altitude” version of the B-21 would force the US military to open up new supply lines to make certain parts, effectively ballooning logistics costs. There would certainly be commonality in parts, however, we rarely see a military program reach 50% in parts commonality ie. F-35, Constellation-class Frigates. If the military is confident to not include low-altitude bombing in the B-21s mission parameters, then I’m certain that it will do its job right.

I was on Anderson AFB in Guam from 2006-09. I was at the youth center getting a basketball award right on the day of the crash. Someone came into the youth center gym on base saying “there’s a big black smoke ball”. We all knew the air strip was there and my dad asked if I wanted to go look. We got as close as we could right on the gates, probably couple hundred feet visibly from the run way. A small crowd on the gates formed looking in. Eventually base military police came in trucks and said we got to move away because the chemicals burning could be cancerous. I remember the B2s flying over the beach vividly in Guam. It’s like non other when you see those wild angles. I hope the 2 pilots are doing well last I heard was they were both okay but pretty injured from the ejection. Not to long ago a guy actually got to fly in a B2. I think it’s the first ever civilian to be able to record that. It’s a great POV of in the cockpit.

This is actually one of the rare programs that runs under budget and on schedule, unlike the original B2. A big part of it was heavily simplifying the design and taking advantage of what we learned with the B2

This video is basically negligable as china has just invented a new type of radar capable of detecting the F-22 (america's best fighter jet). It's assumed that this radar will make it a lot easier to detect america's B-2 and B-21 (albeit there's so little known about the B-21)

Low-frequency radars even in the 1st Cold War were already able to detect stealth aircrafts. However, getting a “lock” that is enough to launch a SAM would not be sufficient unless the low-observable aircraft comes close for the X-band radars to see.

Lol every country claims their new radars can detect stealth jets. It's not that simple. A non-stealth jet would be detected much sooner than a stealth jet in any scenario. That's why every country with the money to afford it is trying to develop or acquire stealth jets. Both China and Russia have been trying to develop their own B2/B21 rivals for a while now.
