This is the reason why podcasts will slowly and completely kill the mainstream media. Podcasts have all the time in the world for the person to talk and explain all their points, unlike this format where they are constantly running out of time and their production manager "throttling" them!

Its unclear which stocks and sectors will lead the market in the next uptrend. Stay away from the stock market if you do not have guidance from a plannner and investment strategist. My finances have been in order since I got a wealth planner like Monica working with/for me. Some experts will say don’t underestimate performance chasing, others focus on bond yields not Monica, your financial goals come first as priority then you figure out what plan works best for you for the next 5years.

This guy is an egomaniac, wanting to leave legacy of praised, of worship. He threatened anyone through NDA and litigation to make sure no one criticized him. Man, at least have some reality check and pour some fact if you gonna lie, no one is perfect, tell people you are human too. Great marketer no doubt, relentless building his image of greatness in everyway he can. You think Copeland will have the gut to write the book and publish it knowing he will get sued with someone with literally unlimited legal backing without making sure to fact check it?. The fact remain, he succeed at convincing everyone, i see many who relentlessly back him even when you provide something that goes against his teaching.

Ray literally said in his book, the one that's caused all the controversy, ie that the US is in decline thanks to bad leaders, and China is rising thanks to good leaders, ie basic observable facts that hurt some feelings, that him talking about these issues would no doubt lead to him being character assassinated. also said he's a big boy, so bring it on. because he also said he believes it's his mission that in this last stage of his life he will act as a teacher, to share the things he's learned over his extraordinary life. just fyi. i read the book in question. it was the lowest level nonsense i've ever wasted my time on. such an obvious hit job. and not even a good one.

Why is this interviewer dismissive and rushing this man. He should focus on 2-3 subjects for the interview then come back again and do more. I don’t like this interviewer at all. Next time I won’t watch any of his materials

Ray is completely incorrect in his response to the book. The author withdrew his job application to Bridgewater as he simple did not want or need the job. The author actually has a chapter in the book the responds directly to Rays responses to be the book. Amazing that Ray is allowed to get away with this and that he does not get challenged by Fortune Magazine.

Mr. Dalio was calm and confident answering ALL the questions from the interviewer until it got to the question about the book by The New York Times writer. Then he started stuttering, gesticulating all over the place, rushing his words, his prosody was now off and he deflected to answer something else like politicians do. If they found 400 wrong facts, why couldn't he point out ONE. 400 facts and he couldn't name ONE that caught his eye?

Renaissance? Really? Abu Dhabi is a Renaissance state? Human rights organisations consider the UAE, of which Abu Dhabi is a part, substandard on human rights, citing reports of government critics being imprisoned and tortured, families harassed by the state security apparatus, and cases of forced disappearances. Individual rights such as the freedoms of assembly, association, the press, expression, and religion are also severely repressed. Singapore is not a bastion of the state respect of human rights either. 1/4 of workers in Singapore are "Foreign Workers" who essentially have no rights under the Singapore legal system. It seems like Dalio doesn't give a crap about anything but money.
