Complaining: The Language of Fear - Bill Johnson (Full Sermon) | Bethel Church

Everything we think and do comes from either love or fear. Bill Johnson shares examples from the Israelites exodus out of Egypt of how their choice of fear led to complaining and caused them to lose sight of who God is. Complaining will always distort our view of God’s goodness and faithfulness. As the gatekeepers of our own hearts, we have the choice to live and speak from love or fear.

Read genesis chapter 1 to 11. Monday read genesis chapter 1, Tuesday read Psalms chapter 1, Wednesday read John chapter 1, Thursday read genesis chapter 2, Friday read Psalms chapter 2. Weekend off. Monday read John chapter 2, so on. Have a clean bible no markings or past thoughts on a topic. Read one chapter a day. Write down what you read in your own words. Talk to Jesus Christ about what you read for lessons learnt or encouragement. Also understand, take notice what God is saying, what people are doing and their response and consequences, so on.

I mean, I PRAISE GOD there ARE (still) "Anointed ministers" alive & ministering upon this planet --- though they're rare-ish. Pastor Bill Johnson's teachings ARE so enlightening, reasonable, Scripture-filled, MIGHT not make TOTAL sense to an unsaved person, but make TONS of sense! His words/teachings are truly like the "fresh breath of the Holy Spirit wind" -- with "love, power, & soundness of mind"!
