Prayer is intended to be powerful. Bill Johnson teaches from The Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6 and describes how it is to be a model for us. Praying “On earth as it is in heaven” is not a prayer to simply keep us positive or busy until Jesus returns; it is the dream of God’s heart to co-labor with us, His sons and daughters, to see His Kingdom established in the earth. May we see impossible situations bow to the name of Jesus as we seek God’s heart and walk in the authority we have been given.

Honestly I hear this guy 50 times more in just one sermon, its like angels are ecoing his voice in my Spirit. His teaching are piercing my heart... Just one sermon is an answer to 10+ prayers and questions I have been having... and not only answers, he's providing guidance that I so ever need. I have been an active christian for 15 years now, I am not boasting in anyway, but I am highlighting that, its my first time in so many years to hear God speaks to me sooo evidently clearly. Holy Smartness!!! my brain would not even be able to think about half of the knowledge that you understand and how you put things into perspective about God’s word. I thank you for your sermon and I pray that the Lord continues to fill you with Holy wisdom and knowledge. Thank you for the knowledge of how we should be praying for “us” and not just for “me”.. it made me really check myself and realize how we should be loving others, and loving my neighbor as myself. It also helped me to remember that God is our FATHER that Loves us and is not just an orphanage owner.. I think we so easily forget that we are not orphans but heirs! Hallelujah!!

A while back, you wrote a book on how good God is. And you told us "God is good, and I am well" is the response to the question "how're you doing?" Don't respond "I'm good". Only God is good, you said. I've told that to so many people, and they smile wryly, and say something along the line "I like that"... And so it feels a simple expression goes such a long way to promote His Holy name. Amen, amen.

Why must we contend for what is already stored up for us to make a withdrawal! What more than deep hearted sincere prayer and faith does God want from us? I've concluded that he doesn't hold back but he wants us to exercise and strengthen our endurance, courage, faith, and hope which are spiritual gifts he wants us to grow strong in. It's like holding a cookie above your kid and saying "come UP HERE" and get it. This is how God leads us by love and not push us by fear. We must love him first and foremost above all things. He does inhabit the prayers of his people. If you can carry his spirit of peace within you while you're waiting for an answer, You will get it!

Please prayer for total healing of my daughter, Susan. She has 10 les in her brain. Praise THE LORD. By biopsy found it is streptococcus Intermedius. She had 2 surgeries & will go in later today to drain a lesion that had grown. Pestering for total healing body, brain & soul. She is an awesome child of GOD. Thank you.

While I completely lately AGREE with this sermon... what do you do when you find yourself broken and damaged from trauma?? Went thru years of domestic violence, and healed from it for the most part. And still battling chronic illness.... one has left me with, a deficit, when it’s going to happen anyway despite a life of dedication.... And the other leaves me with battling hopelessness and doubt - even tho I am utterly convinced of the theology of my salvation (sozo) inheritance. ?????

as one who has battled chronic disease for 36 years while having been called into the ministry of health and fitness the entire time, I understand the battle to persevere very well! I today, am finally having breakthroughs in my health and marriage after decades of suffering and prayers to our Jehovah Rapha. Galatians 6:9- keep doing the next thing and He will continue to provide. Refuse to quit and determine in your mind to persevere. My memoir is coming out this summer and I believe it may really encourage you so please be looking for it (Finding My Second Wind). It’s the journey of healing body soul and spirit and I humbly say, I’ve become an experienced expert on long suffering. Cling to the cross and DECLARE his promises continually over your life and step into them with Faith! His word restores the soul so continue digging in there and taste and see how good and faithful he is. Blessings to you❤️

So sorry to hear of your life of sadness ... I do hope it's stopped now... tho you know now how to identify with the Lord, as He willingly suffered so much for us. Yours was needless; His was chosen. Can you imagine? He KNEW what was coming; He was born for that fate. Forgiveness of the person who made you suffer is possibly the more difficult part. God blesses you more every time you let another piece go...

pastor Bill,i appreciate your comments about US,in prayer.The kingdom of God HAS COME,its within us.This is not really a new testament prayer,because the testator[Jesus[has not died on the cross yet.I urge you pastor Bill to listen to brother Hagin .on prayer,faith,healing and how the Holy Spirit works.The GREATEST tool we have in prayer is praying in toungues,which Paul describes as PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT.Just praying with our understanding is limited because we do not know as we ought[ROM 8-26]. @@belovedflorence4109 Thank you Florence for your reply and i aggree that the testator was letting us know some of the terms of his will.Remember that this prayer[the Lords prayer] is a suggested way to pray,a model .Mathew 6 v9 says ,AFTER THIS MANNER PRAY.John16 v24 ,26 Jesus says that in that day[the day of the new covenant] we ask the Father in Jesus name.In fact we are told to do every thing in the name of Jesus in the new covenant.Mathew 6 v14-15 makes human forgiveness dependant on receiving Gods forgiveness,which is exactly reversed under the new covenant.The return of Jesus is a bessed hope and we are all looking forward to that event but you do not have to pray for that every day.We can however speed up the day of His coming2 Peter 3v12 by helping spread the Gospel Mathew 24v14.Trusts this helps explain why i do not believe its a new testament prayer,but there are wonderful suggestions for us,but we need to go to the Spirit given prayers from ACTS onwards to get confirmation.Vishenka

I can’t remember which sermon it was, maybe this one I’ve listened to so many because I recently discovered Bill Johnson and was SO enjoying his sermons, was listening to several a day but I heard him make a snide remark about intercession with “groans that words cannot express” Romans 8. In Matthew 7 Jesus does not condemn judging as such, but does condemn judging hypocritically. One must evaluate between good and bad people and things. We do that by looking at one’s character. In other words look for the fruit in his life and it will show you whether or not he is wicked. 1Thess 5:21 tells us to test everything.
