"Demons" is the second single off Bill Leeb's debut album "Model Kollapse" out September 13th on Metropolis Records.
Model Kollapse refers to phenomena in artificial intelligence (AI) where trained models, especially those relying on synthetic data or AI-generated data, degrade over time. Leeb posits the notion that “as we forge forward on an unprecedented technological scale, it makes me wonder how much longer humankind can stay in control of various aspects of our lives. Automation has already taken over many industries. With technology running the world, plus hackers potentially holding us hostage in the future, will the entire planet be vulnerable to a Model Kollapse? What will we do if there is no electricity, for example? Chaos would surely ensue.”

@@lassemann1677I hear exactly what you mean. The big thing with Echogenetic that stands out to me is that the band used the synthesizer “Massive” on that album. (They also used it on parts of Airmech too). Massive has that very distinctive metallic bass sound (it’s fairly prevalent on the songs “Prototype” and “Leveled”). I honestly was hoping to hear it used more on future albums as I really loved what it added to Echogenetic specifically.

Better than the 2 last FLA album imo. Don't like those ones (too cheap)...

I think "Wake Up..." and "Mechanical" are very good records, but they're less consistent, a couple of tracks are excellent (for example, Purge is very strong, or the title track of Wake of the Coma), but many other tracks "stick out", they're a bit tired. IMO the 2 records between Implode and Artificial Soldier the "lowest point", even though I consider the FLA + side-drive records from 1989-1998 to be outstanding. Between1992-1998 - with Equinox, Pro-Tech, Synaesthesia etc. is a very great Musical Universe, but this 2 track from Bill'solo is back to the roots, wait the complete album ❤
