the rapper with short black hair was a yg trainee for 10 years and was even part of the project 'future 2NE1'. she left and then was a trainee for 2 more years under mystic story, so that makes 12 years of being a trainee... its insane. she also participated on unpretty rapstar 2 and ranked 3rd!

IMO billlie is second only to purple kiss when it comes to rookie discography. favorite debuts last year, hands down, and both have multiple songs in my top songs of the year ("can we talk again" is #1, "ring x ring" is #4). definitely recommend listening to their albums. "flipp!ng a coin" is probably my favorite b-side, but they're all incredible. for me, their music so far has no skips, just like purple kiss.

Billlie is INCREDIBLY stacked with talent. They have two Main Rappers (Moon Sua - the girl with the short black hair - and Siyoon), two Main Vocals (Haram and Suhyeon), and now two Main Dancers (Tsuki and new member Sheon, who you might know better as Kim Suyeon, the last girl eliminated from Girls Planet 999). In addition four of the members with Main positions (Moon Sua, Suhyeon, Sheon and Siyoon) ALSO hold Lead positions. As someone else mentioned, Moon Sua is the sister of Astro's Moon Bin, and was a YG trainee for TEN YEARS before leaving for Mystic Story - she trained with Blackpink pre-debut but was considered too young to become part of that group. She also came in third in Unpretty Rapstar 2. Moon Sua has said that the group and the company believe in fast comebacks - debut in November 2021, winter comeback in December 2021, full comeback in February 2022 - and she implied that they would come back again on a similar timeframe: late May or June 2022 probably. So far they are doing everything right to make an unusual concept break through to the mainstream, as this most recent album has sold roughly 50,000 copies.

Tsuki is not only one of the main dancers, not only does she have amazing expressions, I also love how they use her very unique voice as a subvocalist - she really sounds like a bell - and she's a natural-born for variety/comedy. If you want to check it, see Billlie on Silence of Idol, and on their new show Billlie's Ginga Minga School Life. Billlie also has amazing vocalists (see the MV you missed, Snowy Night - also with creepy vibes!), amazing rappers (see their pre-debut cover of Haon's Boong-Boong), and an amazing concept (not just the titles, even B-sides are often dedicated to the mystery of Billlie Love's disappearance). Oh, and as everyone else also said, Flipp!ng a Coin is a total bop.

Billlie is an all rounder group, they are great at rapping, vocals, dancing, and have great stage presence. They debuted as a 6 member group, but later Sheon (Suyeon from GP 999) joined the group - Moon Sua: (short hair)Main Rapper/Lead Vocal - Suhyeon: (blue hair in rxr) Main Vocal/Lead Dancer - Haram: (main vocal mentioned in ggmy) Main Vocal - Tsuki: Main Dancer/ Sub vocal (Japanese) - Sheon:(reminded you of ningning) Main Dancer/Lead Rapper - Siyoon: (Orange hair in rxr) Main Rapper/ Lead Dancer - Haruna: (blond with bangs in ggmy) Sub Vocal/Maknae (Japanese) You should definitely check out their stages, and yes Tsuki does go back up like that in all their stages. I recommend listening to their debut album The Billage of Perception and their recent comeback The Collective Soul and Unconscious. They also had a Christmas single called Snowy Night if you want to check that out.

The main rapper you said reminded you for Ryujin is Moon Sua, she was a YG trainee for eleven years, and is to this day the longest trained idol I believe with 12 years. She was meant to be in a YG group that never happened, titled Future 2NE1, with Purple Kiss Chaein, Fromis_9 Seoyeon, Soloist Younha and soloist Roya and Sua was meant to be the leader. She is trained in rap and dance mostly but also has a very nice raspy voice when singing. I would recommend watching their pre-debut dances, which are all choreographed by 1million dance teachers (and all their titles and some B-side also are). Also, between Ring x Ring and their first comeback GingaMingaYo was added a new member, Sheon (the one that starts GingaMingaYo), she couldn't debut with them because she was in the survival show Girls Planet 999 at the time. She was added I believe a few days after Ring x Ring got out but was truly there with their Christmas digital single "snowy night".

I usually skip on lore, because I find the music and performance more interesting. With Billlie, the lore isn't just vague allusions, or a separate story piece: the story films connect to the MV, the MV has an obvious thread, and almost every track on the album is about the story… The only exceptions are the fandom tracks, I think. Re: Mystic Story: the company formed before SM bought a majority stake. It has its own music producers and they manage some actors. Historically, for music they've mostly had soloists, though they manage Brown Eyed Girls (since 2015), and Shinchireem. Billlie and Lucy feel pretty different to me.

First thanks for reacting to my request. I'm so Happy that you love them!!! Honestly, they almost took the spot of ROTY last year to PK for me.The group is absolutely stacked. they have 2 Main vocalist Haram and Suhyeon (Haram is a powerhouse and ppl are not ready), 2 main rappers MoonSua and Shiyoon (MoonSua is the short hair one you said was fierce, she's been a trainee for 12years, 10 under YG, and she is the sister of Astro MoonSubin), and 2Main dancers Tsuki and Sheon (Sheon joined them 2 weeks after debut after being the last eliminated from GP999). The 7 of them are part of the Dance line, that's their killing point for me. 4th Gen is stacked with great dancers but as a group i found Billie slightly above. They have one comeback in between, it's "Snowy Night" and it's a single more focus on Vocals it's so good!! They also have a perf video for one of their B-side "flipp!ng a coin" wich is also amazing. They got 2 albums who are just incredible only Purple kiss top it in terms of quality! 2 No skip album with immaculate discography and all their songs are connected to their story. Speaking of their story/lore it's the only one that i truly care in any of the groups that i follow/listen, it's weird dark and a bit creepy and their dedicated videos for their lore are so well produced, they also released OST for their lore, it seems to be really well planned. I'm obsessed with them since their last comeback and if PK didn't drop an early AOTY i would still listen to them only one repeat XD Last, they've got a lot of amazing pre-debut stuff on YT and i discovered last night that they started a reality show on YT, on studio lululala channel, it only has a Korean title "빌리의 긴가민가 학교생활" but it's subbed in english. It's airing right now, the first 3 ep are up and i rarely seen a show produced that well and that entertaining plus the girls are so funny and loud (it's my favortie Reality show atm) I don't know if they are as chaotic and loud as Dreamcatcher or Purple Kiss but they are not far behind (wich is a statement) TL;DR : the group is stupidly stacked with talent, Mystic story seems to know where they going with their story and they have talented producers to back them up. They are funny, loud and a bit different from the rest of KPOP

Great video. They are the total package - plus they can also act. Suhyeon was training to be an actress. They also sing almost full voice during practice and have insane sync and stage presence. Love this group. 😊 The song in between was Snow Night. I love that song. Billlie has at least 4 aces. They are all very good dancers.

According to Moon Sua (the short haired rapper) to their interview in Hanbam, GingaMingayo track is about asking what is real and right and what we confronted with, and I think it is also related about the struggles of growing up. That's why the lyrics is about like a confused person about making decisions.

I was v curious about Billie because firstly I thought their group name was cute lol but also their debut teasers were soooo different from what we often get w kpop ggs. But admittedly I’ve not kept up with them since ringxring. I think it just wasn’t my cup of tea at first listen but hearing it again now, it’s q a banger and I think it’s my fav of the 2. Gingamingayo is a fun song. Is it just me or does the gingamingayo remind you of E-I-E-I-O in the old mcdonald song lol
