Losing Watson was a big deal. He was playing exceptionally and now it's a question mark week to week. Pat hasn't played well the better part of 2 seasons now. I'm a big Chiefs fan, and even I think slow-footed is a huge insult to Josh Allen. He is much better than that. What makes me mad is that people are flip-flopping right now on whether this loss is huge. First, people are saying that they did not need to win every game and it might be better if they lose one, and that they were due for a loss. Now, everyone is saying that it's bad because the team looks vulnerable. So what is it, was it crucial for them to go undefeated or not. THIS is the first game that the Chiefs defense was on the field longer than the Chiefs offense... But, the Defense struggled against Tampa and Denver prior to this game... So the defense has dialed it down a little over the last 3 games, and it was the offense in OT and a blocked field goal by the Special Teams that won the first 2, and they lost the third... AS much as I would have loved to see them go undefeated, the SB is the goal, and getting this loss now takes that extra undefeated pressure off and they can get back to playing for the playoffs and fine tuning things... THEY should be able to keep the number 1 seed, the Bills still have to play the 49ers, and at the Rams and Lions in the next 3, so they could easily drop 1 or 2, especially against the Lions in Detroit... Until the Chiefs are mathematically eliminated or lose in the playoffs I am confident that they can 3 Peat... Just My Humble Opinion based on stats and facts...

The difference between Buffalo and the Chiefs is that Buffalo wasn't handed multiple wins this year or the past several by the refs. They also were without multiple key players. If Buffalo plays them in the playoffs and both are at full strength..KC has Pacheco and Hollywood Brown back and Buffalo has Coleman, Kincaid, and Milano back..Buffalo will beat them again regardless of venue and by 10 points...as long as the refs stay out of it. Baltimore and Pittsburgh imo can get them too

Josh Allen is a beast, but I think he can also be compared to Lamar Jackson. On a few plays, including the winning touchdown, he shed 4 Chiefs defensive players enroute to the endzone. So impressive, I'm a lifetime Chiefs fan but they were clearly out played by the Bills on Sunday. The same with the Chargers, they looked very impressive against the Bengals, who were competitive to the end and lost it in the final seconds. That said, the Chiefs seem to shift into a higher gear when they get to the playoffs. Last year they entered the playoffs as a Wild Card team and won every game, one at home against Miami. And then on the road at the Bills and at Baltimore and then won a close game in the Super Bowl.

From what I saw, the Bills were able to control the ball, manage the clock and make plays on Spag's blitzes. Some of those throws while under durress was pretty amazing (and difficult) to watch. But that's what you got to do to beat the Chiefs. I do see three other games that they might lose which would put them in 13-4. But I doubt anyone in the AFC West can catch up to them.

When Josh completed his final drive in each of the playoff losses to the Chiefs, he left the field with a lead or in the case of last year, had set up the Bills for a chip shot field goal to tie. The Bills defense hasn’t gotten any pressure on Mahomes in any of the games until yesterday. Special teams played a big part in two of the losses (missed short field goal and 13 seconds where Sean told the ST Coach not to kick a touchback but he still called for it and zero seconds off the clock). The Bills played the Chiefs tougher than any other team they faced in their Super Bowl seasons each of those three years. They were the 2nd best team in the playoffs. Credit to the Chiefs but what would have happened last year if either starting LB was playing or any of the other hurt players. They literally signed a guy that was retired from football to play LB days before the game. A LB without coverage skills that couldn’t handle Kelce. Diggs was in full tantrum mode. He was 2/6 and dropped a touchdown pass late in the game. The separation between these teams is minimal. The game yesterday was without Keon Coleman, Dalton Kincaid and their starting RT Spencer Brown. At one point both OTs were backups and one was just called up from the practice squad for the game. The Bills have been without LB Matt Millano all season and most of last year. He’s one of the best in the league. They’re getting healthier and have their bye week. The toughest game is Detroit but they may get the 1st seed for home field advantage and the bye week in the playoffs.

I mostly agree but the Niners probably played them the toughest. They had a double digit lead and a lead three times at the end of the game and OT. Doesn’t get much tougher than that.

⁠​​⁠Hopkins in his mid 30s doesn’t make up for Rice who is twice as fast a game breaker nor Hollywood Brown who hasn’t played one snap during a meaningful game in season. Hunt is not explosive like Pacheco nor does he have break away speed. If the Chiefs played with there full starting lineup as projected in the pre season I see these games much differently. The Chiefs have been at a major disadvantage since Hollywood went down but of course other fan bases don’t care and why should they. However when other teams play the Chiefs , Tampa Bay , Chargers, Ravens, Bengals and Bills it’s always about what they don’t have which seems 😂. Lastly the Chiefs defense has been suspect since they lost Jalen Watson in the secondary… Currently as constructed I don’t think the Chiefs three peat but still they have won three Super Bowls in 5 years nobody’s taking those away period..

It’s nothing new. They beat them in the regular season and enjoy it. They lose during the playoffs and well… they can’t get past them in the playoffs. Haven’t gotten a championship for a long time.

Last year the Chiefs were a far worse team than this year and they still got it done. They always figure it out in the playoffs. Nobody should ever doubt this team's ability to make a run at a Super Bowl, regardless of how they are playing in the regular season.

Yeah the thing is every power house team has a team that plays them tough and what usually happens when it's crunch time or the plays usually that power house team prevails. It's OOOONE GAME. Trust me the Chiefs will be just fine. In fact I think they will actually be more dangerous. I feel if the Chiefs would have beat the Bills yesterday I think if they met in the playoffs the Bills would have won but now the Chiefs have an extra chip on their shoulder. Josh is the 2nd best player in football? What makes him not the best player in football? Compared him and Mahomes number, Josh is way better. Nobody is more terrifying to defend in the redzone. Remember his top two receiving threats were out. Our defense is playing great, and our best run stopping linebacker Milano is now back right at the bye, time to get him acclimated. The Bills will be ready the next time they see the Chiefs. It will be a closer game, but same outcome.

Mahomes magic is or isn't over. With a trash O line he will NEVER be able to step into a pass ever again. The Worthy catch out of bounds is Mahomes HAVING to throw as he is backing up. Matt Nagy needs to call plays that allow KC to get first downs and only occasionally throw deep to keep the defense honest. Tom Brady made a living throwing short passes and KC can as well. KC need Eric Bienemy back, he understood. FIX the O line and all will get better. Imagine if Mahomes has even 1 second longer in a pocket!!!

The chiefs mathematically could NOT stop the clock enough with only 2 timeouts and it being under 2 minutes. If he slides, they kneel out the game. Instead he scores and he allows the Mahomes Black Magic to come into play.
