This Chiefs fan had to like that zinger! The Chiefs are like this, every year, of late. Great team build. Unorthodox team build. But it doesn't gel until late. You can see they're very close to winning most of their games in dominant fashion, but just a little bit off in the execution. In '22, it was all the rookies on defense. In '23, it was a struggling WR group. In '24, they're better at WR, even with all the injuries, but it's a work in progress in mid-November, trying to bring a relatively new group up to speed in a very complicated offense.
