The wave of bandwagon eagles fans after 2017 season are the only ones sensitive about holding players to higher standard. we’ve done it with every QB. We spent 2013 calling nick foles “a deer in the headlights” and he ended up winning us a Super Bowl. Agree completely w Chris, KC could've just ran the ball all the time in this blowout game, no need for Mahomes to take extra hits, and going for it on 4th down w that lead was an unnecessary risk. If the MVP argument wins, it's Mahomes, and if it's statistics, then it's Lamar. Allen is having an mvp level season. It's disingenuous to pretend that Allen alone is playing at an elite level with a bunch of nobodies. He hasn't been sacked in weeks, and everyone is open. The running lanes were untouched against Detroit. He has a great offensive line and offense. Burrow should be on the ballot, too.
