@@SunniMerlotI disagree with you. He has not been balling. He’s been average to below average for most the year. PFF has him ranked as the 117th best LB in the league right now. The only reason he has somewhat decent stats is because teams target him in the passing game and run his direction to avoid Fred Warner. Making tackles 5-15 yards down field is not making a positive impact. For him to think he’d hold the job over Greenlaw when he returned is completely delusional. Dre is one of the best players on their roster.

Just to give some insider, I played for the University of Akron and this exactly thing happened to us with our star supposed to be running back who decided to quit mid play causing a player to get a concussion versus Bowling Green. Coach continue to favored him which you could imagine the team didn’t really appreciate.

You’re correct he did do it. But I think the biggest difference is the ravens didn’t absolutely need him in the game, he just has packages in the playbook and they can swap him out for another WR. In this case they needed that young man because they had no one else because the starters got hurt so they had to play nickel and not there normal defense because they didn’t have a linebacker atm
