Joe Burrow. Josh has the size, the skills, the running ability and the strong arm. However, an NFL Quarterback is 90% Mental and 10% skills and abilities. Joe is a cerebral tactician on the football field. Don’t believe me? Look at his LSU College game video’s and compare it to the growth he has developed in Cincinnati. Then compare Josh Allen’s College game video from Wyoming. Josh is a fantastic athlete and has an unbelievably strong arm, but intangibles are the difference between a Lombardi Trophy and a Divisional Championship. Thanks

Burrow was throwing to Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson.....naturally he's gonna look quite a bit better. He was highly recruited out of HS and went to a huge school and got great coaching. Josh didn't show any development until he got to Buffalo under Brian Dabol and had possibly the greatest 1 year leap of any QB in NFL history. And so you know.....neither has won that Lombardi trophy you speak of so his intangibles haven't gotten him much farther than Josh's natural skills and lack of intangibles. And these "intangibles" you speak of....can be learned over time. The natural arm strength and running ability Burrow will never have.

It’s really Mixon, having a scary run game is the best gift you can give a QB. Like I said I think they are even but Burrow is definitely playing with a lot more help which is a big reason why Allen may seem a bit more erratic. The difference between having a run game and BEING the run game is significant.

If Josh matures and stays under 100 Carries in a season, he has a chance to stay healthy and be generational. Burrow also runs quite a bit. ALlEN has 115 Carries, Burrow has 72. Josh needs to slide and avoid the hits though. The effects are cumulative. Doesn’t change the fact that a healthy Josh ALlEN is as dangerous as anyone

@@PokeKrazy nobody cares about 2nd place. If you can't get it done then you worked the entire season to come up short aka don't meet expectations. Both QBS are top tier the main issue I have with Allen and Burrow is that all the hits on Allen will add up eventually, but on the other hand Burow has taken worse hits since his o-line was garbo for quite some time and already had major knee issues whereas Allen has not. We've seen knee and ankle injuries for QBs can have a compounding effect

Josh Allen has been a great passer since 2020 all the way up to until his injured his elbow in that jets game. Its weird how nick seems to downplay how much that elbow injury has affected Allen’s passing.

That is the story of the bills season last year. Josh Allen was sensational when it mattered in that game. So I don’t understand your point about the 1 seed, etc…. The discussion is about this year and how much the injury has affected Allen’s throwing ability and accuracy.

Josh Allen had one of the best QB performances ever and lost to the Chiefs. Joe B had 4 straight mediocre performances and almost won the superbowl on the back of his defense. Its clear Nick fears the Bills more because he know if the Bills win it would mean that Allen has a legitimate argument against Mahomes whereas Burrow could easily be discredited because its unlikely a Bengals win comes with him dominating in the playoffs.

His performance was only "mediocre" because of his awful o-line. He was the most sacked QB in football. So given that he was able to put enough points to win games and make the Superbowl in his first full season(coming off of an acl injury). I seem to remember him being down at half against the chiefs because his defense couldn't stop Mahomes in the first half, then coming out strong I'm the second half to ultimately tie the game. His defense was surprisingly clutch in the playoffs but let's not act like Burrow didn't play well given his circumstances.

Joe Burrow can afford to be "cool" because he has great offensive weapons. Josh Allen carries the weight of his team most of the time. Mahomes also carries the weight of his team but not most of the time.

They didn't count rushing TDs because you cant throw an INT while rushing so it would inflate number when doing a TD/INT ratio -_- Go look at Lamar jackson or Jalen Hurts and they would look like the best QBs to ever play if you added their positive rushing stats

First of all, they can also turn the ball over on a rush by fumbling, which Nick loves to point out when Josh Allen does. Second, if the TD-int ratio bothers you, then only include passing TD’s when you’re showing TD-int ratio, but this was supposed to be a total yards and TD’s graphic. Just admit it was the producers being misleading to push a narrative

If you include Lamar and Hurts' rushing yards, they actually still have fewer total yards than Allen.

Josh Allen has 500 more rushing yards this year than Joe Burrow. He has about 200 less passing yards, but he played in much uglier conditions in more games. Not sure a pure passing comparison is really apples to apples given where they have played their games.

Joe Burrow is a QB. They don't pay him millions to rush the ball. That's what RBs do. Allen has a lot of rushing yards because he doesn't see the field as well or process as fast as Burrow.

I love my bengals but to be as unbiased as I possible can be, yes josh Allen had a elbow injury so it’s definitely playing into his passing game but burrow came back from a ACL and MCL tear that wasn’t completely healed until at least week 5 and was 35 lbs underweight and led the bengals to a Super Bowl Allen has yet to do that. They are both extremely dangerous QB’s but I gotta take burrow just because he’s resilient with injuries he plays through it and gets the job done. I would take both of them on a team if I could.
