Have you lost your mind? In this game Allen set multiple all time NFL records. First, he broke Peyton Manning's record for most TDs in the first 8 seasons of a career which stood at 253. Allen now has 254. He also is still only in his 7th season. Which is absolutely absurd. Effectively Allen did what the most prolific TD producer in the history of the NFL needed 8 seasons to do in under 7. He still has 21 more games to make this record probably untouchable and push it over 300. 2nd he broke the NFL record for most career games with 2+ passing and 1+ rushing TDs when he got his 23rd such game. 3rd, he did something no QB since the merger in 1966 has done and only one other QB in NFL history has done (Otto Graham in 1954) by scoring 3 passing and 3 rushing TDs in the same game. How dumb does it sound to say the player with the most TDs thru his first 5, 6, 7 and 8th seasons in the history of the NFL isn't the MVP? At this point unless there is a conspiracy and collusion by MVP voters to actively prevent Allen from ever winning it, he is MVP. And if you want to argue that someone else might be this year, then give it to him for the other 2 years he got screwed out of winning it.

@@Djturnt I definitely think Goff should be in it. Right now I think the mvp candidates should be Allen, Barkley, Goff. Allen has 3449 total yards, Goff has 3312 total yards. Allen has 32 total touchdowns, Goff has 25. Allen has 5 ints, Goff has 10ints. Goff is playing great but is by far in the better situation with insane talent around him. Unfortunately I think that will hinder Goffs mvp candidacy.

I mean Goff went 6 straight weeks and had 8 incompletions total in the time span

Stupid ass take. Former players, especially great players, tend to always root for skill position players when they deserve it. They're the underdogs for MVP voting, always, and people love underdogs. Barkley has a chance to break a very tough season record. If he does and Josh doesn't break something crazy, then why wouldn't Barkely deserve it?

I think this season for the Rams demonstrates beyond a doubt that a QB needs two things - 2 seconds, and a target. Without those two things, the QB looks bad, and with them, you see how good the QB really is. Of course, Matthew Stafford is a top 25 all-time QB Hall of Famer, and of course Josh Allen is arguably today's best QB. So both had success for those two reasons.

@Youngswizzy667 Sean McVay is good at working the refs and getting the majority of the calls. Bad calls and missed calls have the biggest impact at the end of games. Buffalo had already outscored the Rams 14-0 in the 4th quarter and the Rams were reeling. Those missed calls along with McDermott's miscalculation on the penalty cost Buffalo the game in my opinion.

The blatent anti-Allen bias is wild lol. I see what he's saying with the argument of "numbers vs wins" but if you look at the numbers and the wins after this game Allen's candidacy is looking even better now. He's closed the gap with Lamars TDs 30 to 33 and still has more wins so what are you on Sherm? This loss was almost entirely on the special teams, defense and coaching. Burrow would be in the convo with his numbers if the bengals didn't suck ass around him. Lamar is where he is and Allen is where he is, currently the front-runner for MVP. If the Bills lose to the Lions and lamar has a good game next week I'd expect Lamar to then become the frontrunner so all of this is fluid but acting like Josh Allen isn't right there is ludicrous and kinda disrespectful to be real.
