I was NFL bound until them Sebring Lightning bolt boys took out my knees in the Heartland Championship game of the 7th grade Junior high school round of 64 in 1997. Them good ole days as the running back for them Hardee Junior High Wildcats.

This guy is a incredible athlete , The Bills have nothing to lose in trying him out . he would make a great running back , built like a tank

I’ve never seen a guy if his size do such an effortless backflip. I’ve only seen a couple people of any size do it so effortlessly and high off the ground too. Unreal athleticism.

Sean has to wear that hat on the sidelines during the season. I'll admit, I KNOW it's got to be adorned with an NFL Bills logo, but that hat definitely works for him. LOL.

The technique needed for wrestling is so far beyond football it’s not even funny. Hopefully the coaches and players give him a chance. I sense some jealousy though.

Amazing how his sexual assault scandal never comes up ngl. It’s a pretty sick story
@AbettergrapplerАй бұрын
If you actually do more than read headlines you would know it was mostly fabricated and a 125 wrestler was mainly responsible. Gable was collateral because of his name. But good job slandering someone like a true scumbag

It ruined his wwe career that’s for sure. The crowd hated him from the start and the allegations definitely played a part cause why else would a US Olympian who’s supposed to be the “good” guy get booed out of most arenas?

There is a distinct difference in playing football from other sports. You have to have leverage on the offensive and defensive line. One of the smallest offensive lineman at 255 pounds, Dwight Stevenson played 11 seasons with the Dolphins and he was a master at blocking men much bigger than him. So it takes some time to learn but he might get there.
@emmanuelheath2365Ай бұрын
Wrestling is all about leverage
@dyates6380Ай бұрын
EXCELLENT point! I'll even raise the bar, although only slightly. The great "iron Mike" Webster. Center for the four time Super Bowl winning Pittsburgh Steelers, wasn't even six feet tall, and maybe like Stevenson, two fifty five or so, and his technique was so masterful and perfect - not to mention his bruit strength, he was all pro year in and year out. You are ONE HUNDRED percent bang on with your assessment.

Is this a serious question? Go on Spotrac and look at the contract terms and figure it out for yourself. It was always meant to be a 3 year contract before they could comfortably let him go without major Diggs style cap ramifications. Plus he voluntarily took a pay cut to reduce his number this year without pushing any significant money further into the future. He wasn't even a year removed from the surgery until last December, so not sure what your expectations were for 2023 to start with. They definitely brought him back too early though. He looked better in the playoffs and was the only DE that had a good game against KC. I think that's when he was starting to really get his legs fully back. He'll be fine if healthy this year.

People who argue NFL is harder than the NBA to play in, this just shows you its not. The fact a guy who has never played in his life can be on the highest level with zero experience shows NBA athletes are better, could never happen in basketball.

Embiid didnt play basketball until he was 16 and now he's an mvp. It happens in basketball. Lol. What a silly comment bro.
@caseyclausen2627Ай бұрын
Lol. What Steveson did athletically is far beyond what any NFL or NBA players are doing. Might not translate to NFL, but he's a unicorn.
@gsp3428Ай бұрын
@@fawnnahh7438 Embid started when he was 16, in high school, of course some people start later than others, but they dont start at the highest level possible without playing one second. Embid started when he was 16 and won the MVP 13 years later. There will never be a player ever who has never picked up a basketball, and then an NBA team says, lets take that guy. Look in the mirror with silly comments.

He is not going to make it. I guarantee it. Nothing against him personally, but this just looks like a marketing gimmick not unlike the other guy, the rugby player.
@manny4mayorАй бұрын
I bet there were some lames guaranteeing that Steven Neal and Jordan Mailata were not going to make it either. And the odd were certainly stacked against them. But they did. Like, big time. The Bills are risking very little to take the chance that these incredible athletes can tranfer their abilities to football. It's certainly worth a shot, especially for Steveson, to have our players get some rub with an athlete of his caliber. It's more fun just to be negative I guess. 🤷🏼♂️
@michaelsongin4007Ай бұрын
Lol. This guy has an Olympic gold medal, one of the best college wrestlers of all time. His entire sport is power, control, hand fighting, quickness, and tossing 285lbs men around in a sport of 1v1. You think he can’t get past a guard?

Preach!!!!!!!!
@peterwilson4865Ай бұрын
This is just stupid. How is he a marketing gimmick? How is Clayton one either? They're both ELITE athletes with the requisite tools to succeed at their respective positions. Clayton is part of the international pathway program and is exempt from counting against the 53 man roster or practice squad. What's the gimmick there in your estimation? Stevenson is just a world class athlete and wrestling is a skill set that translates well to the DL. He displaced a 3rd punter from the roster, so who should they sign instead?
