As a Bills fan since 1991 (born in 84, but I won't count the 6+ years I was alive but too young to fully appreciate the family fandom), this take about how "it's all over" is a lot to process. My family loves the Bills - it brings us together, we cheer, we sigh, we feel every loss to the point where we joke about how we place a sports media blackout upon ourselves for a few days to avoid the media chatter about any loss the Bills suffer. At the end of the day, however - we have had SO much more to cheer about, be thankful for, and enjoy from 2019 to present day than we had from 1999 to 2018. The 1990s Super Bowl years were fantastic. On the whole, being a Bills fan is more pain than celebration - but the past 5 years have been wildly fun. The Bills are part of the conversation now - a conversation that was so often had without a single mention of the franchise for 20 years outside of a list of the worst teams. I'll take the last 5 years over the previous 20. I'll take a top 5 quarterback and a collection of really solid talent still on the roster, add pieces through future drafts, and hope that Josh can generate a few more cycles of championship contending teams before his career is finished. Still having fun!!!!

Nick Wright has always been threatened by Josh Allen taking any attention away from Mahomes---which has happened a lot. Bills have second best record in the NFL over the last 5 seasons. In December, Nick said they had no chance of making the playoffs. They then started their win streak by beating the Chiefs IN KC. Went from 11th seed to 2nd seed even after losing many of their starting D. During that win streak into the playoffs, Diggs was almost invisible. Nick is in his own fantasy world with his Bills hate. It makes zero sense. Literally everything he started this segment with can be said about every other team not named the Chiefs. What has ANY team "accomplished" outside of the Rams & Bucs? Losing a SB? It's silly to act like it's just the Bills *ALONE* who haven't won a Super Bowl & to hang that all on Josh Allen. 31 teams don't win a SB each year. The Chiefs are the best team in the league. Yet for some reason, Nick acts like it's only Buffalo that hasn't managed to win it all. It's obnoxious.

No disrespect to the GREAT Patrick Mahomes, but why are we acting like he didn’t have arguably the league’s best defense last year (by Nick Wildes’ own admission)? The same defense that kept the Chiefs afloat through the first three quarters of the Super Bowl when Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense were downright bad? And it’s not like Kelce-who, in a down year, was still more productive than the Bills’ top two tight ends COMBINED-didn’t come alive to look like the GOAT at his position again in the playoffs. And Rice, a rookie, was darn near as productive as Diggs on the season. Even MVS made a few HUGE catches throughout their championship run. Just saying: Mahomes had plenty of support when it mattered on both sides of the ball (and on the sideline with KC’s coaching staff), and that wouldn’t be the case in Buffalo
