Knew it was gonna be rough but didn't expect it to be that brutal. Still held it together and got the big dub. Our lack of a consistent pass rush against one of the NFL's worst O lines is kinda inexcusable Def noticed the quiet of the 1st half on the TV feed, and how it only picked up w/ Cook's rushing TD

Hand fighting that is let go is one thing, but the receiver stuck Elam hard at the last second to create separation on the first TD. Was the officiating as awful to anyone else as it was to me?

Cannot imagine a win or loss without coming to hear what the boys say! Like you said, KC wins these types of games every week, and nobody complains, but Nervous Mafia won't let the Bills celebrate a close W. We need a healthy secondary and it will be better. Go Bills and Merry Christmas. The sleep over sounds awesome and what a great memory for your kids, Aaron.

There's no reason for Spector to ever be in over Dorian. The team obviously went conservative with personnel decisions. Probably wise, to be honest, but it left the defense shortstaffed. The offense looked undisciplined and almost like they expected to sleepwalk to a win.

Best take thus far. I feel the same way about Milano. Williams has earned the starting role and he’s playing the best. Spector is a huge liability every time he hits the field

You guys are right! That orangey red definitely reminds me of the Patriots' jerseys. That color only looks passable (no pun intended) when the pants are the same orangey color.

Spector played bc Dorian has been dealing with an elbow injury for a little while now. Clearly not significant enough to scratch him, but obviously at least somewhat of an issue considering they put Spector, who's a Middle LBer, in at WLB where he hasn't played since maybe preseason or Training Camp. Even with it being the Pats, I don't think they do that outside of a completely meaningless game in which at the very least I'm sure they'd like to work on some recent deficiencies they've had going to into the playoffs...And complete aside, not sure if it's Spector's lingering calf, but man he looked like he was playing in mud tonight, which perhaps is what made Dorian look so explosive when he came in bc that dude looked like an uncaged animal. It's easy to take for granted just how fast and physical he is when we haven't seen him consistently in recent weeks like before Milano's return.

Why do they like Baylon Spector?
@BillyBuffalo3549 сағат бұрын
Calling Dorian Williams just Tyrel Dodson is disrespectful and a rare, and frankly moronic, take by Greg. Is the best in zone recognition yet? No, but the guy is still really young, and didn't come from Aranda's system at Baylor like Bernard, yet has shown drastic improvement in that area, not to mention I've never seen Dodson carry Devon Achane up the sideline on a wheel route stride for stride like Williams. He's also far more fast, far more physical, a far better tackler, and a better Blitzer by miles. If he's Tyrel Dodson, he's the Luke Kuechly of Tyrel Dodsons (no, I'm not saying he'd Kuechly, obviously)
@kyleconstable36569 сағат бұрын
I agree, Williams is a superior athlete to Dodson at this point in time.

My issue with "everyone eats" in the WR room, is that it's very hard to keep every guy going hard every snap in terms of winning 1 on 1s in man coverage, in every single game, all year long when a guy thinks he's got maybe a 1/5 chance of getting the ball thrown his way on every pass. And some might say "they're pros, of course they're trying to win every snap". Yes, but sometimes you try a little harder than other times and tonight seemed like one of those games where guys weren't necessarily going as hard. And yes, this happens, otherwise they wouldn't constantly talk about how rare it us to have a room like they do where everyone is so unselfish and guys are just working for when it's their turn. Maybe it was a combination of the cold, playing a 3 win team, and buying their own hype a bit. Regardless, I yjinkbits actually a positive bc no doubt there won't be any trouble with motivation in the playoffs, and they won't have a vanilla plan vs man cov., so I'm not too worried about teams just smothering us with man. Look what we did vs Detroit and Man cov, a game they were clearly motivated for.

This was definitely Shakirs worst game. And I disagree that the one long pass on third down was the only one he should of had. He has to catch that ball in the endzone. The difference between other teams stars and the Bills is that the Bills stars rarely make contested catches like that. Other quarterbacks can throw 50/50 balls and expect their receivers to come down with some of them.
@BillyBuffalo3549 сағат бұрын
First off, we don't have "stars". We have guys that could become stars in Coleman, Shakir, & Kincaid, and an aging former star in Cooper, but no current stars. Secondly, each of those guys have made plenty of their fair share of spectacular catches this year, contested or otherwise. To say they haven't is just completely disingenuous. It didn't happen today, doesn't mean it hasn't happened at all.
