I know the game was a divisional game and those can get pretty difficult but we are now seeing a trend in this last 3 games by the defense where they just can’t get a stop, and yes they ended up saving the game today with the turnovers but you can’t rely on those to win a game, i hope in the playoffs with a healthier defense they can turn things around.

1:40 most certainly this is the defensive game plan all szn long. Longest takeaway streak and we are in most games. Even the ravens game, we had a chance to capitalize on a Lamar fumble but trick play. Rams we didn’t have a takeaway, nor any 3rd down stops. I’m worried. If specials teams and offense are even SLIGHTLY off, I don’t think the defense will carry the team to a win

Not sure how you can't think the Bills defense is in trouble come playoff time. Several big issues. Defense can't stop the run or generate a consistent pass rush. Third down stops are indeed an issue.

Agreed. The D let NE chew up TEN MINUTES on its 2nd td drive. 1/6 of the game! Inexcusable how they can't get off the field on 3rd down (or 4th for that matter). Simply not enough pass rush. The way Burreaux and the Bengals are going, they are the last team the Bills want to face in a 1st rd game, even at home.

It felt like the refs were trying to keep this game close. Every time they made a big stop… pass interference flag! And they were very tacky besides maybe one. And they didn’t throw any of those against the patriots defense. Seemed pretty obvious they didn’t want the Bills running away with the game

They’re 12-3 in the N.F.L. These are all the best players I. The world people. If my team were 12-3 I’d be pretty happy. This is the first one score game they’ve won all season I think. They tied the NFL record for consecutive 30 plus point victories in a season and the sky’s supposed to be falling? Calm down folks.

Not sure what went wrong with the offense. Allen was off. No WR separation. Couldn't throw the ball long. Allen's legs were minimal. What's really disturbing is the NE defense stinks and was missing several starters. I think it's time to be concerned about this team going forward.

Very scrappy game....the only good thing was the result... it is with these games that we see the true quality of the teams ... now compare the Chiefs and the Bills!!!! The Bills are either hot or cold!!!! Do they want to be considered contenders!!!!! The last three games we see a team (D) that did not show up in LA then could not stop an offense in Detroit and the whole team O and D was not ready to play yesterday!!!! NO Intensity not the same level of fight the Patriots were showing. In my view it comes down to coaching!!!! I have been a Bills fan for more than 30 years.. but I am sad to say we will never win the SB with this coaching staff!!! Like it is said below by other comments... so much draft capital spent on D and .....!!!!!

A bit of a rant here, this D line is the single biggest downfall of this team. 91 only consistent is his disappearing act. 40 is done. 54 and 5 can’t ever see the field.

This Bills team is flawed on defense and can be had by a team that is committed to the run game, uses play action and keeps the chains moving. Andy Reid knows EXACTLY what to game plan to beat this Bills defense. Happy we are 12-3. Exceeded my expectations. But as optimistic as I get, I know this defense is not playoff caliber. Ride Josh. See where it takes you despite the defense and special teams.

IMO, Maye becomes another Tua-caliber QB...he'll have some up games, but it'll come with poor decisions, bad throws, and picks/turnovers in the clutch consistently from one game to the next. He should be able to improve NE to closer to a .500 team, maybe just above. At the very least, it may elevate them above the Jets and Dolphins longer term.

I think the Bills defense is gonna cost them in the playoffs. Zero pass rush and can't stop the run all season. They can't depend on turnovers, all the time. Turnovers are hit or miss. And that was the difference in today's game.

I am not a fan of bobby babich or should I blame mcdermotts scheme. I hate the passive, hope they make mistake, let the play come to us, little rush, not close coverage, soft defense. The bills hate being up by more than one score. Immediately, they drop back and play soft. It's like they want the game to stay close
