I have no idea how your video landed in my feed, but I'm glad it did. I grew up in the early '70s and had a few larger slot cars (I don't remember the scale, they were hand-me-downs, maybe 6") but by the late '70s the local slot car tracks were out of business. I moved over to HO cars/tracks but it just wasn't the same. Your cars and track are outstanding!

Thanks maverick_trail. Glad you liked it and there will be more 1/24 1/25 scale cars, tributes and such. At the end of this video (well the A I voice over) mentioned the next car and that will be a 1966 Pro Mod Chevy Nova-just got the body yesterday and have started working on it. Looks smaller like 1/25 scale but it will be a fun build and that video will be out sometime next month. Again-thanks for watching and appreciate the nice comments.

Very cool drag track is this to scale in length because it looks short ?

Thank you. I built it for 1/24 type scale slot cars. Everything is mostly to scale but since I am only using 16 feet of 24 feet (in my 26 foot garage) I have had to limit how fast I can go. Yes I could make them faster but in the process ruin the cars at the end. My Difalco controller is a two wire no brake and this is throttled way back and my voltage is 9V DC not 12 V DC. Also there are a lot of other things important to me and that is to see the finish line sensor LED lights nearer the start right after the tree and not at the end where the viewer can't see them. Also I like the 1/24 scale cars. So I guess the answer to your question is Yes. Its short.
