An era of team-stacking, excuse-making, zero accountability, zero self-awareness, little to no defense, big men chucking threes and hoping for the best, and worst of all, team-switching. If things dont work out in one season, they bounce to another team again and again. Thankfully, this era is coming to an end. Out with the old and in with the new. The NBA is watchable again thanks to the new generation of players and a new culture of basketball. These younger players show more physical defense, teamwork, hard work, passion, play your role, do your job, players play, coaches coach, postup play, etc. Parity and balance is makin the game better and more competitive. It was Josh 3’s and the team play that allowed them to win. And when Brunson finally shows up you guys only see Hart struggles from 3 and states Brunson has carried the knicks to victory. Again it is the entire team effort and yes game four Brunson played out of his mind: my point is he had more than one game where he didn’t play so well and it was his teammates that covered down. Show love to the teammates the same way you show love to the star….

I'm really trying to get behind Embiid and give him atleast the smallest benefit of the doubt but every time Embiid loses he ALWAYS blames someone. He blamed Ben Simmons then his team mates then the coach then the refs and now the crowed. I know sixers fans are going to try and stick up for him with excuses of being hurt, well he dropped 50. Not to mention how much he flops and gets 20+ free throws on the regular. The guy has been in the league for 12 years and can't get past the 2nd round of the playoffs all because Embiid plays way worse in the playoffs where it separates best players in the league compared to just really good players during the regular season and that's what Embiid is a really good regular season player and that's that.

As a Sixers fan, I love Embiid….but. His body can’t make it through an 82 game regular season without getting some type of injury. And i honestly don’t think he is in shape to play 4 rounds/2 months of playoff basketball. The guy was gassed in Game 4 and had 1 point in the 4th quarter. He does this every spring as he shows glimpses of greatness and then just runs out of gas as the series goes on. I honestly think he’s too heavy and should lose 25 lbs to get in better shape. If we lose to the Knicks, this will be 7 straight years Embiid can’t get past the 1st or 2nd round. He’s just not built for a long season.

Brunson is a good player no doubt but he benefits a lot from having a cast of players that actually perform well. He played mid the first 2 games and they still won.

EMBIID had 9 TURNOVERS and 7 assists...NBA credited him with 10 one of the assists was a pass to MAXEY who shot the ball almost 10 seconds later. 6 of the 7 assists were to outside shoots... NBA likes to inflate stats to compare with legends but forgets this TRIPLE DOUBLE before the 80s was a game with 1 assist

Embiid is the most unlikable superstar I've ever seen. Legit talent, but I hate watching him play and I hate hearing him whine about how everything is someone else's fault when they lose. How about you stop flopping around and take some responsibility when you suck because the refs don't call games the same in the playoffs and you can't get 16 points from the line every night. He's Wilt Chamberlain if Wilt were a pansy. He's got that kind of skill, and he wastes it every year.

@jimifender225 ай бұрын
I get people hate embiid but you simply cannot pin this series on him. He's been probably the 2nd best player in the playoffs besides jokic. He's averaging something like 31/10/6 on a bum leg and a paralyzed face lol. Every time he leaves the game the sixers get absolutely obliterated, just destroyed. If the team is simply dreadful with him off the floor instead of unfathomably bad there's a good chance the sixers are up 3-1. Idk if you watch this series and your takeaway is "embiid choked again" i dont know what you think you're watching
@nathanielziering5 ай бұрын
It's Embiid's attitude. He throws every one under the bus. It's never his fault the 76ers loose.
@jimifender225 ай бұрын
@@nathanielzieringthis is completely lazy analysis just based on pre-conceived notions of disliking embiid. i dont think something embiid said in a post game presser a year ago or wahtever has anything to do with the sixers shooting 26% from the floor with him on the bench. what does his attitude have with the team being incapable of doing anything without him. They have outscored the knicks by 34 with him on the court. In the 33 minutes he hasnt played in the series they have been outscored by 38. Meanwhile brunson is a -4 on the series and has been outplayed by embiid in 3 out of 4 games yet will get credit despite being outplayed. How is embiids team shitting the bed with him not on the floor the fault of his attitude? Somehow his poor attitude only impacts their ability to produce when he's on the bench? The reality is Maxey has struggled to produce and lead the offense when embiid isnt on the court to play a two man game with, tobias harris has been legit terrible, and outside of a quarter of cam payne going off the sixers have gotten nothing out of their bench the whole series. The knicks are up because their supporting cast straight up is annihilating the supporting cast of the sixers. If your take is "this is joel embiid's fault" i think you either arent watching the series or just want a reason to hate

instead of making it a "why is Embid and Philly not beating the Knicks?", how about identifying what the Knicks are doing to beat Philly. At the end of the day, all of the analysts who watch highlights don't understand the talent the Knicks have on their team, which is why they are so confused to why the Knicks are winning. Yes, Philly has 2 of the top 3 players in the series. but after that, Knick runs away with the better talent of the supporting cast.

That's the point I've been making. He's always hurt and has never lost to the superior team (I thought they were better than Toronto, not Boston though). It's one thing if you're running up against a dynasty, a team that is the superior group. He's also coming up small in Q4 when it matters.

I know this may sound crazy, but I don't care what someone is averaging per game especially when numbers can be inflated (i.e. a 50 point game). Also, he's averaging 35 points per game. He's a front-running player, loves to get into it when things are going well but when adversity hits, he's as tall as Spud. The man is shooting 40-89 from the field, he's 3/18 in Q4 this series. Big, small, medium, I don't care - if you're an MVP and 'great,' those shouldn't be the numbers he's putting out.@@k_hack9441
