Hello ASL Heroes!!! If you’ve enjoyed these lessons or videos you are invited to help support ASL University. A donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for the ASL University website: Lifeprint.com. There's an easy way you can help out your humble (as well as kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher. Just click on the Paypal (donation) link below and you can be an "above and beyond" ASL Hero! www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=64QMBRBXQSV6G Thanks! - Dr. Bill ========================== p.s. Want to have your very own USB drive with four semesters worth of ASL instruction (that’s the equivalent of two years of colleges classes) for just $79.95? See "SuperUSB" in the ASLUniversity bookstore at: lifeprint.com/bookstore/bookstore.htm Take care and my best to you all. :)

How would I say "Twenties" if I'm referring to a person's age???

The most common way is to sign 20 and then do the "apostrophe+S" sign. That works both for the years Ex: 1920's and the ages: She is in her twenties. Some one might try to tell you to shake a "2" but that just isn't "common" and I don't recommend it.

I, like to know why in these video lessons. There are not real sentences cause no one talks this way. I, always wanted to learn.

20:40 I've noticed that you always explain the difference between the versions of MEET that use the 1 handshape vs the flat O handshape in terms of the number of people. but I also notice another difference in the examples you tend to use: that when you're meeting someone for the first time, you use the "1" version. so I wonder, suppose you're telling someone about a party you went to with a bunch of people you didn't know, would you say that you "met a bunch of new people" using the flat-O version, or a (repeated?) "1" version?
