EXEMPLARY rendition of one of the BEST songs of ANY century. Everything here is on point - the look, the feel, the great musicians hip, the great emotive and melancholy mood and most of all......the beautiful voice of the late, great Bill Withers. It's so nice to hear it again...for great songs like this, I always purposely not play it for a certain period of time, then play it again when "that need" tells me it's time. It fulfills a need in me. So many of his songs strike a cord within me - this one, Grandma's Hands and (surprise) Steppin' Right Along. I miss him So Much😢.. but thank God, I still have his music. I’d be baked as fuck and out of nowhere we’d get like 10 orders back to back and we’d be out of meat to make the shit. It’d be a stressful ass moment and out of nowhere from the kitchen you’d hear, “ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone” and everyone would bust out laughing and forget just for that split second the situation we were in. Dude looked like a 20 year old young chop but he had the voice of an angel and perfect comedic timing, no clue where he is now but I hope he’s doing good
