EXEMPLARY rendition of one of the BEST songs of ANY century. Everything here is on point - the look, the feel, the great musicians hip, the great emotive and melancholy mood and most of all......the beautiful voice of the late, great Bill Withers. It's so nice to hear it again...for great songs like this, I always purposely not play it for a certain period of time, then play it again when "that need" tells me it's time. It fulfills a need in me. So many of his songs strike a cord within me - this one, Grandma's Hands and (surprise) Steppin' Right Along. I miss him So Much😢.. but thank God, I still have his music. R.i.P., Mr. Withers and God Bless to all who loved him and his music, too.

one of my very favorite songs. The instrumentation perfectly blends with his voice and the song. 🌷🌱

Salute to Bill! I never realized how passioned he was singing this song until i went on stage to perform last week in front of one big light and the small crowd. I couldn't even blink at all because I was over sweating but words of lupe the show goes on!

I worked fast food for a few years and when I first started we had a cook who’d sing this everytime we’d get a rush. I’d be baked as fuck and out of nowhere we’d get like 10 orders back to back and we’d be out of meat to make the shit. It’d be a stressful ass moment and out of nowhere from the kitchen you’d hear, “ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone” and everyone would bust out laughing and forget just for that split second the situation we were in. Dude looked like a 20 year old young chop but he had the voice of an angel and perfect comedic timing, no clue where he is now but I hope he’s doing good

I didn’t lose a family member to cancer like so many of you, but an outside cat that eventually become a member of our family was run over this morning. She was always happy and would always say hi and come running when I yelled for her. You’ll forever be in my heart Scooter, love you sweetie pie.

Old comment, but my dog got ran over when I was leaving states. She escaped the yard and came after me and got ran over. Luckily, no broken bones. She eventually died of cancer. I sadly like to think I should have stopped to get her inside.but she kept escaping because she thought I wouldn’t come back. Never saw her again.!
