Why does Alex have to make peace with Sammy? He's allowed to live a Hagar-free life. Do you know what Hagar wrote about Ed in his book? It's a lifetime bridge burner. Al doesn't trash Sammy. He just ignores him. Does "peace" mean Al has to appear with Hagar and work together? It's been 20 years since Al and Hagar played together. It's OK to move on. And, Al doesn't need to make peace with Michael Anthony. There's no battle.
