Billy is so so wonderful. When he begins the medley everytime you just stop what you're doing and listen and laugh. He actually makes it into what an oscar show is suppose to be. Mixing tradition with history & contemporary wit. Nowadays I just go to bed and wake up the next morning to see results on youtube. If Billy hosts I will stay up all night to watch in it's entirety.

I got the chance to work with Billy on "Mr. Saturday Night" as a Bowler...he was so handsome.

This is the Oscars for the movies of 1992. Scent of a Woman was released in 1992 along with the others you mentioned with the exception of Carlito's Way. Carlito's Way was released in 1993.

I recall watching this one. He hosted many, many times and t was always a pleasure to see what he was going to say. Of course, writers wrote most of the monologue, but no one could deliver those lines better than him. The quick shots of the stars, how they looked back then…what a treat.
