Thanks again, guys 💛❣️ We drink mead on the 1st of May in Finland. Mead is a very traditional drink in our celebration of spring. It’s made of citrus fruits, sugar and yeast. Haven’t heard about honey in mead here.

Traditional mead aka "honeywine" is made by fermenting honey, and is one of the oldest alcoholic beverages ever fermented. It was consumed as far back as 4 thousand years ago and was common in cultures among Asia, Europe, and Africa.

Love you guys!, I am a huge fan. I am thinking of opening a meadery here in Montana in the next 2 years. I would welcome you guys or the guys from Wyrd any time. I am a naturalist mead maker and drive fruit flavors sky high. It's a fun hobby and hopping to making it a fun business. I was stoked to see you do this interview and had to watch. I want to agree that honey bees ARE in danger, having colony collapse issues and such. They are AGRICULTURAL animals, like cows and chickens. They are European. There are 4000 native bees species to North America and 46 species of bumble bees. And they don’t make colonies like honey bees, they’re quite different but need to pollinate and collect pollen and nectar and so honey bees can compete with them aggressively. So just wanted to make sure you all are aware of that. And plant some natives to help the local bee species!! 💚💚🐝🐝
