The Chipmunk moment where he tries to kiss the guy withe the kid and he looks at him afterwards with disgust is the funniest moment.

The only character from Parks and Recreation that I despised was played by him. Nice guy but his only "jokes" are shouting at other characters about himself and annoying everyone. He literally ruined most scenes he was in.

Wow I disagree completely. I think he was hilarious on Parks and Rec.

I hated his character in Parks and Recs with a vengeance too but I don't think it's his fault it turned out such a disaster. The character was lazy and constructed bad from the get go, there wasn't really anything else for him to do than that stupid shouting gimmick. Bad one dimensional if even that character with annoying "joke" of screaming as only thing to lean on, not even good jokes to scream. Try make that good, don't see many succeeding as their first paid gig on a hit tv-show. I quess the point was that the character was supposed to be annoying but that's all that it was in over the top fashion. All the charisma and fun of Billy on the Street yelling and complaining stripped away, jokes killed and just volume and intensity pumped to the max.

@anders damin thanks a lot! I have enjoyed Eichner in other projects like American Horror Story so I've seen that he can act. Not every role goes great ofcourse but this kinda one note thing somewhat based on what he got known for at the beginning of his career should be easy pickens for someone with his talent level. Atleast it shouldn't be by no stretch of imagination a trainwreck it turned out to be. Only if it were a good role, I also agree that it's only one bad in Parks n Rec. Shame.
