yes, it wasn't in the script, it was zane who suggested "why go around it? go through it," but he didn't think of it on-the-spot while the camera was rolling as some would assume. he talked about it with james cameron and other people, including kate winslet, so it _was_ agreed upon during that day when they were shooting. i do think that's very important since there was a ton of glass and china on the table and it would have been extremely dangerous if kate didn't know that it was going to be flipped. they did like six takes and only got a single drop of orange juice on rose's dress. overall, this sequence is very effective in the final cut, and kudos to billy zane for executing the idea so professionally

@@livmendel billy zane said it was hard to flip without hurting her. kate did agree to the flip though so it'll be more dramatic. it's nice to see they're actually friends off camera
