If you are going through Cincy, go through Springfield MO…it’s on the way to LA and has the Bass Pro Shop Pyramid. Also, going through Memphis and Cincy on the way to LA is a longer drive

Skipping the first night is a bad idea. Driving sleepy is more dangerous than driving drunk. Also, driving through a snow storm will add hours to the time. Take tire chains and extra food and water and try not to run below a half tank of gas.
