Great game by L.S.U., really was! Always exciting when the tigers play, at home, at night in Tiger stadium! Another one of those classic Ole Miss- L.S.U. games that will go down in history as one of the best! The tigers played their best when they had to, both on offense and defense ! Hell yeah! Perfect night for a game in Death Valley! LSU looked very nice tonight, especially on defense (all those sacks were great)! Only thing I'm seeing is that Nussmeier is relying too much on throwing, he needs to get comfortable with running the ball more when he sees an opening, which he actually successfully did during the game. Great display from LSU tonight!

This game reminded me so much of the '14 Ole Miss game when #3 OM went down to Baton Rouge led by Bo Wallace and walked out of Tiger Stadium with a loss, just looking completely shell-shocked. Ole Miss has GOT to be sanctioned for the embarrassingly obvious faking of injuries. It's gotten completely absurd. Ole Miss - the nation's sack leader - came away with 0 sacks in the game. LSU's much-maligned defense had 6. Stop me if you've heard this one before: Ole Miss football starts off the season dominating lesser opponents and has their eye on the prize, believing themselves a legitimate title contender, and then... 61 years and counting since the Rebels last SEC title.

Nussmeier made a lot of NFL throws. You need the goalpost view to see how elite his arm is. He's been overlooked with a Heisman in front of him but I think he has more arm talent than LSU's last two Heisman winners. Burrow needed starts to gain confidence. Give Nuss some experience and you might be looking at another LSU Heisman QB. If not this year, then next year. If he ends up with half of Burrows 'IT' factor, he will go first round. He needs to learn from Joe and take 5 or 10 yards on the ground if nobodies open. It's there.

You have not seen a real college game until you see an Ole Miss LSU gave at night in Baton Rouge. I saw one - 1968 when Archie Manning threw a touchdown pass with 8 seconds left to go. All these years later I remember it plus a lot of other things before, during and after the game which I would not put in writing (smile). I love both of these schools (now) so I was going to be happy no matter who won. So exciting.
