I never realised Billy had died, so sad. I saw the Faith Brothers supporting The Alarm in 1985 and they music has stayed with me to this day, never got the credit they deserved . RIP Billy

From an American fan who found Billy via "A Far Cry From Sunset" on an Amazon search for rock and roll books 2 years ago, I just tonight heard this version for the first time and am floored. I thought "Mass" was unsurpassable but this is at least it's equal to my ears. Happy to have both Faith Brothers CDs and now four of Billy's CDs. His "under-discovered" talent truly astounds and frustrates me. Thank you for giving us your great music.

Once told Billy that I believed this was the 2nd greatest tune ever written, and he was chuffed. Still believe it now. Gonna miss this guy so much, such a sad loss. Thanks for the great songs and memories. Top man.

God I miss Sunday evenings, down The Troubadour. listening to Billy. Sometimes to only 6, maybe 7 people. Such beautiful times.

Wow! The man a genius. A few months before he passed, I asked him if he could help teach my son how to play the guitar. He said "of course I can, but you better be quick before I go to America". That unfortunately was the last I heard from him. Billy you were a great man. Long may you legend love on.
