Billy Goats Trip Report

Trip Report Tuesday - Started the weekend off by having the day off work. Headed out to Dargo via Stratford. The donuts from the bakery there are worth the stop. Filmed a few campgrounds on my way to Eaglevale. I have 3 others joining me and everyone was there by 7pm. Saturday was a lazy get up, look at the bridge at Eaglevale and then a drive on the dirt to Dargo for an early lunch. Yummy sticky date pudding at the Dargo Hotel and then off to do Bulltown Spur and Crooked River. I have done Bulltown Spur before and remember it being super steep and thin......it's been graded and was a different track. Crooked River had some great exits and entry ways to deal with and then on the dirt home. I wanted to do some more tracks but the light was fading and we all wanted to get to camp. Sunday was a drive out via Billy Goat Bluff Track. Awesome as always. Spectacular views. Once up we got out on Old Moroka Road which is a track, an easy one but has some interesting parts.....it just goes on forever.........
