I went to his crusade in Baton Rouge , Louisiana, back in 1970, as a ten year old boy. My mother took me and my younger brother. I never forgot his message and it stayed with me into adulthood, although I never acceptable Jesus Christ as my Lord savior. Finally, I was baptized at age 60---50 years after going to that crusade. Billy planted the seed and the Lord was gracious enough to allow me to live until that seed took root and grew into a tree; the same for my brother. It's a miracle my brother or I are still alive, considering the lives we were living.

I watched this interview in 1988 on a black and white TV. My parents did not take my sister and I to Church but I knew about Billy Graham and knew about Jesus because of a classmate of mine and I read a Bible in the public library because we did not have one at home and I gave my heart to Christ and now I am married with two boys and they will grow up knowing the Lord. What a beautiful conversation. How different the culture was just a few decades ago. The fact that Larry King invites on a religious leader, genuinely listens to him without putting words in his mouth, seeks to learn from him, thinks about what he says, etc. Even the questioners were respectful and polite. It's remarkable. So very different from today. What a great lesson and inspiration for living out faith in Jesus in the public world without fear or compromise.

@@latkagravas986 1 John 5 :10-13 says that you can know that you have everlasting life. How can you know that if you must live Godly for salvation. That's for service, not salvation. Jonah 3:10 calls turning from sins, "works". Repentance of sins is a lifetime of works and has never saved anyone or contributed in any way to salvation. If repentance of sins helps save you in any way then it had better be perfect repentance. God's standard is absolute perfection. Not even one sin is allowed to be in Heaven. The book of James says that if you follow the whole law and offend in one point you are guilty of all. Oops, so much for helping out with your salvation. God grants repentance unto the acknowledgement of the truth. The only repentance that saves is admitting that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation. How can you possibly trust Christ alone for salvation when you are also trusting in your performance (repenting of sins)? You absolutely can't. Bottom line is that you must trust in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.

Billy Graham was a 33rd degree Freemason and their ritual was to sell their soul to the devil and conjure demons to possess them. Billy was a demon/human hybrid, so he was exempt of most of the ceremony, before getting the degree. His nine-foot-tall bronze statue was raised, by the Freemasons, in Kentucky, and stands to this day. The occult Freemasons are Jesuit owned and that's why Billy visited the Vatican so often. He was charged with infesting Protestant churches with Jesuit boys, who would report to a local Catholic church all the personal information gotten about the parishioners. As they grew, they would be groomed to eventually assume leadership of each church. Kathryn Kuhlman was his right-hand man in the venture and was presented with a personal audience with the Pope, for her subversion of the Protestant victims.

Interesting, I was born in North Carolina, not too far at all from where Billy Graham was born, but unfortunately never had the privilege to meet him in person. I did have the opportunity to meet Larry King 30 years ago, back in his early days on Mutual Broadcasting Network, and when we met I called him Mr King, and he immediately said “please call me Larry.” He struck me as a very down to earth, humble man, and we loved that he always asked the questions, and then sat back quietly and allowed his guest to answer his questions, interviewers today could learn a lot from his style. It is also interesting that Larry always described himself as an agnostic, and the day that Larry feared the most just came overnight, and we can only trust and pray that he came to know Christ in his later years.

Me, too! I really recommend seeing his son Franklin. I was front row in 2019 and I witnessed firsthand that the same anointing that Billy had is upon his son. When I went forward to accept Jesus, Franklin looked down at me and smiled and I remember thinking afterward “wow, I’d never have known that the child of one of the world’s greatest prophets would be the one to call me forward to receive the gift of salvation.” The crusades now being held by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association have the Holy Spirit moving thru them today just as He was back in the 1940’s when Billy first answered God’s call.

sputnic If you believe the words in the bible and that they're from GOD, then you need to read the first chapter of ROMANS I'm not going to add any comments the words speak for themselves.
