In fact he had board members set up so he could be separate from the financial part of his ministry. He also set up charity organizations to help those in need. I used to be Catholic. I am a Pre-Vatican II, "X Catholic!" The Catholic Church kept the Bible out of the hands of common people for 20 centuries. When I discovered for myself that salvation meant trusting in Jesus Christ for salvation, I didn't need the Catholic Church, because thru the Bible I had my assurance of salvation. In addition, being an avid student of history, I saw the abuses of the Catholic Church and Her teachings. God has always protected His WORD. For thousands of years, the Catholic Church had Jerome's Bible, which he translated into Latin from the original Greek. The King James Bible was translated from the original Greek, rather than "The Official Catholic Bible of Jerome." The Catholic Church never "OWNED" the Bible. It was given to mankind of every creed and nationality by God, Himself. The whole idea of Salvation by Faith, ALONE, is a Biblical tenant of faith, held by most Christians, but NOT Catholics Your salvation is based on "works" rather than on the shed blood of Jesus Christ, as the ONLY covering for all sins. There is no Purgatory, as that is ONLY a Roman Catholic invention; there is not one Scripture about it or allusion to it, in the Word of God. The Catholic Church has always been week in the area of science, and just as they taught the sun was the center of the universe in the 1500's, Her teaching about TIME was equally as erroneous. Keep studying and praying. After all, your eternal salvation depends on it.

For salvation, people just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in the water and of the spirit. Here's why! Galatians 1:8-9, But though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans. Our salvation has to match-up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOOO long to be WRONG! st, John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Jesus Christ was our perfect example back to God. He was baptized and received the Holy Ghost and we must be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost. He was holy and walked in righteousness and we must be holy and walk in righteousness. He died and rose again, and we must die to the things of this world and rise to walk in the newness of life. He prayed to the father showing us how to pray to the father. His ministry is focused on spreading the gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ; teaching us that Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us from sin. In John 6:56 Jesus was speaking to the Jews and referred them in previous verses, where Jesus referred to Him as the "living bread" to be broken on the cross and those who will eat will live forever. This means those who accept Jesus into their hearts and lives as Lord and Savior will have eternal life. We affirm this belief in the Holy communion. The bread representing the body of Jesus and the wine representing the blood of Jesus. Salvation is not in the body itself but the appropriation of the the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ into our lives. When you receive a birthday gift, the significance is not the gift itself but the kind thought of the giver. However, you cannot separate the gift from the giver as Jesus Christ is both the gift and the giver also not only of His kind thoughts but because of His great love for us. He loved us so much He gave His life, body and blood as atonement for our sin. By the way, the Jews not only turned their backs on Him but actually they are the ones who crucified Jesus in fulfillment of the prophesy.

My mommy always said Annie listen. Billy Graham is talking about Jesus. I would reply I can hear. Mommy would say, I know you can hear, but are you listening. Today as I sit and watch Billy Graham lay to rest. I can hear his voice. The power of the truth. Now that I know and have this special relationship with Jesus. As I remember the people that have their lives. Awesome man of God. May we follow Billy and Ruth Graham's life of their love for Jesus.
