Wrestlers like Billy are a huge asset to any company. He's had moments where he's been able to shine, but he's also helped others do so. There's nothing wrong with being in a supporting role, especially if you can have memorable moments of your own along the way.

I've always liked Billy's work for the most part but everything he did in TNA was total dogshit. Whether it was the Cute Kipp garbage with the Beautiful People or that doubly awful VKM run, every time he was on TV I was ashamed to be watching that crap. His very presence on the show felt like an unwanted intrusion.

I met many TNA wrestlers at a Slammiversary meet and greet event held in 2007 and that was the time Billy and BG James(Road Dogg) were there in the company. Both Billy and BG were either drunk, high, or both. They were very rude towards just about every fan there but then they wondered why fans didn’t cheer them the next night on PPV. To be fair, many of the TNA talents were like that towards the fans except for a handful of them who were genuinely nice. Hector Guerrero was super friendly and respectful of everyone there. So was James Storm was a heel at the time. Babyfaces like Billy, Road Dogg, and Rhino were complete a-holes. Kurt Angle was great but he was noticeably heavily medicated and he dozed off several times. All that to say, yeah Billy, we agree you didn’t have a good time in TNA.

@@PokemonGoTrainerUK on that day, yes they consciously made the decision to be assholes. You can’t use the addiction excuse either because I’ve met functional addicts who didn’t act like complete jackasses and were nice people. The only problem they had was the drugs or alcohol but otherwise they were nice people. I get that people can be having hard times but that doesn’t excuse them being rude or otherwise to fans who paid to see them. If they couldn’t handle the job, they shouldn’t have been allowed to work that simple.

Billy is so amazing and humble. He came to my hometown in the UK for an Indy show when I was 17. He was the first big American wrestling star that I had ever met. He could see I was nervous when I asked him to sign some Wrestlemania programmes that I had and proceeded to put out all the people he had dated in the programme to make me laugh. Such a wonderful guy. I've never forget it.
