I went to a Skid Row/Idol show at Toronto's CNE. We thought Skid Row would rock it to the ground. Billy Idol and band rocked the Hell out of the place. They kicked total ass. Everyone was goin bonkers!!

It's always worrying when rock stars get older and risk being an embarrassment, but Billy looks and sounds great at 66! No backing tracks either. I was never the biggest fan but much respect!

For all of the naysayers and the ‘he’s too old to be cool, club…just close your eyes and listen. His voice is in great shape, Steve’s playing is incredible, and the band is tight! I would rather see a talented band with a great sound and not so great looks, than a bunch of poser musicians who try to look cool…but have virtually no talent at all!

I mustn’t have watched the same video. He was great in his prime but his voice is shot now. Way out of tune - especially in the lower registers. Great entertainer though and Steve Stevens still kicks ass…!
