Howard completely misunderstood the meaning of this song : Billy is telling the woman in his life that SHE doesn't have to change to make him happy : he is happy with her the way she already is

He was trying to explain it, "Well I have my theories..." and howard cut him off to say someing about Joel's first wife. That's one of howard's biggest faults as an interviewer. I know he's trying to keep the interview moving along. But often times he ends up cutting the guest off from saying something interesting or funny.
