I can't believe that this doesn't have more likes and views. I guess you would really have to be looking for a cover version of this song, which I was. Specifically I was wondering if someone did a version that had the guitar as a lead vs. the synthesizer. This was a great cover, especially the lead guitar. This is pretty much how I had a more rocking version of this song sounding in my head. The drumming was very good as well. It could have used a little keyboard around the key change where the verse goes "I'm sure you have some cosmic rational," but for the most part it was awesome and it's one of Billy's best. But this was from 2014, so who even knows if this band is still around, and who even knows who is going to read this comment anyhow............BUT I think you've done justice to one of the greatest singers/ songwriters of all time.

Playing those drum parts while having consistently good sounding singing (tone and pitch) is pretty damn impressive. The Vocal harmonies sound great too. Also, the guitars make the song sound even more like Castlevania NES than the original keyboard track. You guys win!

This is almost exactly how I'd have loved to cover it with a rock band, man. Good job doing the intro riff on one guitar, obviously it's mostly solo notes if not all, but still... you're switching between like 9 chord shapes/scales in a very short time for that main riff here. Its something like (but more intricate actually) Dm Gm7/D C#(m?)7/D Bdim/D Gm/D (one note diff) A7/D D(major)

Nicely done gentlemen. Ya kicked it up a notch or two, and didn't butcher it at all. I've seen a few good attempts, but most either lost it at the vocals, or I couldn't even recognize the tune except for that one riff. You guys nailed it!
