I helped my Dad build his first race boat 1992. It was a 32 Baja and if you follow the sport you know the boat because it was one of 2 Baja “B” boats that was ever raced. The other was a 36 outlaw with dry exhaust. Had big blocks in it built to the Max with out a blower or turbo. Thing ran 80+ and I was absolutely hooked. Gene Weeks is my father and the owner/throttleman of many other boats.

ALOT people are into NASCAR ... And that is Ok , GREAT American Sport . But to RACE A BOAT , And achieve the speeds that they're reaching today , on a surface that you can't even walk on is truly a science of Hydro Dynamics and Aerodynamics ... An AMAZING SPORT ... !!!! WITH BRUT POWER .! Used to be a 60 MPH Boat was fast back in the day . But NOW THEY Reach Speeds of 100 plus MPH OVER THAT ...!!! JUST AMAZING TO ME .
