Jesus Christ, I was down one year for the Miami boat show, popped in at Fort Apache to look at one of the boats I was thinking of buying and all I remember is this helicopter doing circles and throwing stuff out of it because someone parked their car near his landing pad it was a wild scene. what a crazy run!! I grew up lusting after the only 2 real apaches I'd seen both in OC MD. the yellow/pink Jenni's express and the Warlock. it wasn't till I got into boat racing in early 90's that I learned about donDon ArAnow and Arnesten. then found open class APBA and Alcone Motorsports. living in MD I could catch 3 to 4 races a year but he stopped racing so I've always stuck with his brand which was Douglass Marine then now just skater but I don't know if my favororite v Hull could handle this kind of beating and sheer lunacy in the cockpit. a 40 foot top gun I wouldn't attempt those rollers in. you two where like Willie and Sal only crazier. f-ing sick video and story. thank you so much for sharing that with people who love and respect what this takes! cheers my friend.

Spent my summers in OC from 73-93. Being an average kid from highlandtown, seeing the boats, the lifestyle of the guys at the white marlin open, I knew I had to figure out a way to get rich. Never made it to rich, but also didn’t end up doing time. All gravy
