I wonder why they rewrote both Billy Mitchell and Jim Branning to be nicer people than when they were introduced? It was a great decision, don’t get me wrong, but the abusive Billy from 1998 is almost a completely different character to the “loveable loser” he is in 2021.

Phil also dragged ben around and hit women. When Billy has never hit any woman. Billy is more of a man with a heart than Phil.
