They always killed of good characters, they got cheap quick viewer spikes out of doing it. Steve Owen was another that shouldn't have been killed off either but they did it in such a cop out way as well.

@@stemple11100 He was barely able to move Jamie away from Steve, Steve being someone Jamie sent flying with a punch, and you forget Mark had a bit of trouble with Martin. Steve Owen also went toe-to-toe with a Phil in his near-prime and did pretty damn good... as far as their first fight goes anyway. Let's get this out of the way, Jamie was always way, WAY tougher and harder then every other dude his age on the square, whether we're talking Robbie, Martin, Ashley, he was tougher then ALL of them. You forget Jamie grappled with Dan Sullivan, or when it took Mark along with two others just to MOVE Jamie. Mark got injured just trying to move Beppe away from Jack Robbins, also thats not true, Mark lost to Nick twice and backed down to him after Nick pushed him down. Also when Jamie was pissed at Steve Owen, he was trying to hold Jamie back and Jamie pushed him away like he was nothing. Also, the part about Mark never losing is false, he got into a fight with some drunk and got his ass kicked, he's hard but imo he's not one of the hardest. I have him barely above Max Branning who I think Jamie would win against.
