Billy is one of those once in a lifetime singers who if I were performing, I would never let him do a cover of mine. He is so good that he takes any song and makes it his own. NOW THAT IS TALENT. I hug him in my ❤. When I first saw him in the dress at the Oscar's I judged him. Then I heard him speak on Tamaran Hall show and I cried. I was sorry. Because I remembered all the Gay men mama was friends with, who loved us and who were apart of our family. Mama was ahead of her times. I had forgotten about them. They were our neighbors next door and across the streets and some were ministers. I was blindsided by the dress he wore. I didn't See HIM in my mother's Brother's she thought of like girlfriends. I'm shocked at my own self. I love and embrace him. He's extremely talented. He slapped me back to my senses. I am humbled.
