For some reason they cut him out of that video(He was seen in the original "Let It Be" movie), but you can hear him. "That's The Way God Planned It" was another hit of his. When I was a teenager I spent the nights of my weekends with In concert, the Midnight Special, and Don Kershner's Rock Concert and thru these shows I was introduced to the best, and worst of so many different genres of music. The difference in music today is the stratification and exclusivity of genres. A&R executives look at what might sell within a style of music and not the quality of music. We are not given the chance to enjoy just what we enjoy and such the cream is not allowed to rise to the top.

Yes there were a lot of music programs, and most of them did not cater to a single style of music, you would turn on the show and in the same program see Earth, Wind, & Fire, Kiss, and Charlie Rich (Soul, Metal, and country music) doing live concerts along with a lesser known (not mainstream) act like Steeleye Span (Rock versions of English folk). The music seemed to be a common ground.
